Its been a minute since I’ve posted to this site. Lets see, in the interim, I have lost an additional six pounds. Im rocking a 34 inch waist line. And overall I feel much much healthier. Sculpting my body has been a long fun journey that I am still on and will continue now until the day I cant do it any more.
Life’s a adventure, put on your boots and go exploring!

So I’m at week 8 with working out a minimum of working out 4 times a week for the last six weeks and a max of 7 times the last six weeks.
While I was getting Stronger, Faster, Better…. I was not losing the weight that I wanted to. I went up from 236 to 244 and then slowly dropped back down till I hit 235. But I could not lose the weight.
So I looked at my diet, And realized that I was still consuming waaaaayyyyy to many high GI carbohydrates, Such as White Rice, Bread, and pasta. So I said to myself I spend way to much time in the gym not see a difference. I made the decision to cut all of the Low GI Carbs out immediately.
In order to combat the Cravings that most people have when they cut these Carbs out, I also added Casein Protein into my diet. It helps stabilize my Blood Sugar throughout the day with out me having to continuously eat this product. So I very rarely get suddenly hungry.
So now three weeks and 5.5 pounds lighter, I feel like all of the pieces of the puzzle have come together under one roof. Diet + Quality of Exercise + Sleep = a great body.
I think I might be able to reach my mid goal of 215 a little quicker than I originally anticipated. But as long as I make it to 220 by the end of may I will be one happy camper.
My ultimate goal is to make it to 200. I think no no, I know I can do it, the healthy way.

Week 8 off with a bang
Today I enter Week 8 of my training program. I must say can really see the difference between when I started and to where I am now.
I can now dip with 83% of my body weight, 12 Consecutive Times.
I have loss 12 pounds, after a 10 pound increase.
My lower back pain is almost non-existent
My Health has greatly improved
Learned the benefits of having a totally clean diet
Over the next 4 weeks I hope to lose another 6 pounds. A pound and a half a week, that will take my grand total weight to just a little over 225! Which is just 10 pounds above my target weight yay!
Continue to develop my lifestyle into to one that will help with healthy longevity, while toning and conditioning my body.
Today I did Dips with core training.
I must say my midsection is getting very strong, which helps with a lot of my other exercises.

Focus Focus Focus,
So I read someone’s blog yesterday about the power of the mind during a work out. Usually when I go for a workout, I very rarely focus during the easier part of my workouts. Lately I kind of just tune out. However after I read in this blog that Peak Performing athletes very rarely do what I do. They stay in the moment for each Lift!!!
So I tried that to day. It was the most intense workout that I have had in a awhile. It was really invigorating and Fun all over again.
Did Dips with core today, Will go again tonight to do Chest, legs tomorrow!
