Day 2 of Kris Gethin's 12 week transformation

Sure am missing me some Grape flavored Scivation Xtend.  Sitting here drinking boring water is not as refreshing as an ice cold glass of grape xtend.  But I'm living in Germany and they are not allowing any supplements to be imported here.  So, no ordering Xtend from for me...gotta find an alternative that is sold here.

Didn't get a chance to slip to the gym at work today, just too busy.  So I went when I got home.  And Damn! was that gym hot in there.  Had to have been nearly a hundred degrees.  I blame the heat on my poor performance.  I went to failure, but I was hitting failure way sooner than I should have been.

My diet was clean today.  I'm using Dextrose powder in my pre and post workout drink instead of the Vitargo that Kris Gethin used.  Probably around the 8ish week mark I will stop using the dextrose, maybe...we'll see.

Breakfast! I had what I like to call a Muscle Cake.  Its a pancake.

  1. 6 egg whites

  2. 1 whole egg 

  3. 1/2 cup of uncooked oats

  4. 1/2 to 3/4 scoop of vanilla whey protein

  5. 2 packets of truvia

Mix these 5 ingredients up in a bowl real good, real good.  Then pour into a pan and let it harden.  Once it is just hard enough to flip, do so.  Once its done and on my plate, I pour over it some of Cary's Sugar Free Syrup to taste.  That's my favorite breakfast on this diet!


Day 1 of Kris Gethin's 12 week transformation

I swear day one of this series is the hardest in the gym.  I remember the first time I done this work out about a year ago, I was in the bathroom puking, lol.  Today, I wasn't puking, cause I had planned ahead and didn't eat right before.  That said, I felt really weird after the workout, like I was going to faint.  It took alot out of me...but that is good.  Love workouts like these.  Hopefully, I can come to the gym with enough intensity each day to feel like I did today.

My diet today was super clean.  No cheating.  I'm going to make it all the way through, like I done last year with no cheating. I have to. I lost 29lbs last time and now I've gained nearly 15lbs back.  

So my goal for this time around is to lose at least 20lbs.

The Begining

In the beginning, I was thinking I would lose weight.  Well, I started at 203lbs 3+ months ago and I still weight 202lbs.  However, I am not disappointed.  I enjoy the weightlifting and the pictures show the changes.  When I look in the mirror, I can't really tell the difference.  I feel that I look the same.  I am sure glad I took those before photos, to prove to myself that I am making a difference.  Slowly, but surely.  Can't wait for the next three months to come and go...will post more pics then.
