After many weeks and a lot of work, I finally weighed in at 156.5 lbs last Wednesday. I took last week off to go on vacation to San Antonio (during Memorial week)… which probably resulted in a little excess weight gain from over indulgence. May 13th was my previous weigh-in where I was 153ish. Last week after the vacation I had gained 3.5 lbs. Last night’s weigh-in was 153.5… 3 lbs. lost from last week (wtf)??? It’s hard to trust the scale sometimes when your weight fluctuates so much in a week or two. BUT, the great news is that yesterday afternoon I got my BF% measured again. I had lost 3.5% BF since the last time I checked!! Whoo-hoo!!
And now that I am thoroughly confused by the scale I’ve decided to officially start my cut phase! From my start date to now, I’ve finally reached my goal of putting on 15 lbs. of lean mass. The hardest part for me was having to wait about 3 months before people started noticing that I’ve been working out (even though I felt changes almost immediately). Last night I had a great 45 min. on the eliptical machine doing HIIT. Afterwards leaving the gym, I could barely drive away. I was so exhausted that my calves kept cramping everytime I stepped on my clutch. I had to wait a few minutes before I was actually able to put my car into gear, for fear of dropping my clutch and killing my car. LOL, I hope that this was a positive indication that I kicked my own a$$ on cardio
. I’m looking forward to my cut phase. But honestly my diet is still crap. So I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get ripped and/or shredded like some of the people I admire on here. I’m just praying that I can get some results without having to drastically change my eating routine… cause I love the taste of flavorful foods.
