I HAVE TAKEN A FEW WEEKS OFF, REMAINED SEMI-FOCUSED BUT NOW I AM ONCE AGAIN TOTALLY DETERMINED AND FOCUSED. I AM LOOKING TO GO BIGGER THAN EVER, AND CHALLENGE EACH WORKOUT WITH HEAVIER POUNDAGES AND DECREASED REST PERIODS. I AM THE KING OF MY DESTINY AND YOU SHOULD BE ALSO, IF THE WEIGHT IS IN FRONT OF ME OR BESIDE ME< IT’S GOING TO GET LIFTED…..IT’S NOTHING BUT A PEANUT (RONNIE COLEMAN)

My approach is usually visual, before stepping into the gym I mentally prepare for both the reps and sets, rehaearsing all that I will encounter once I hit the gym. My goals, my intentions and my reason for even working out all pass throguh my mind while on my way to the gym. I am an avid believer in practice makes perfect, so If I continue to mentally envision my goals, ultimately the results will come to be a beautiful reality….Stay focused people!

When working on an intense burn, every rep is critical onto bringing on that pump and burn, these two elements are essential for growth. The pump is the transportation of Amino’s, Creatine and Protien into the muscle cells, and the burn initiates growth and expansion. So when you feel the muscles apporaching failure, take a five second pause and then try to pump out an additional two-three reps. Gorwth is on it’s way……No go big people…!

The body can only either increase in size or diminish in size at once, often I get this question, How do you gain size and muscle at the same time, the answer is you can’t. Either you have dual sets of metabolism or your body has a strange way of using protoplasm (food storage) to produce muscle and burn fat storages all at once. My answer would be, go for mass first, eat good carbs, like sweet potato’s, brown rice, proteins of different types, creatine and chicken breast and steak. Once you get the size, you can begin to carve it……up

When entering the gym, my motto is to go heavy or go home, alot of my peers and sometimes my workout partners elude the heavier weights and focus on similar routines every time they workout. I always seek a greater lift, a deeper and more intense burn, because I refuse to be repetitive when working out, Our muscles whether small groups like biceps and triceps or larger groups like lats and quadriceps, become acclimated to certain resistance training very quickly, so in order to alter the growth and pump I switch velocity and sometimes reps to keep my body guessing.

In the supplement market their are numerous types of creatines and proteins to choose from. And sometimes we get lured in by colorful ads, the use of our common athletes or a combination of both. But which is more effective at building muscle without the visual signs of water retention. Bsn makes a good creatine, and Muscletech makes an ok product also, One of the companies use the lastest in creatine ethyl ester and the other uses monohydrate and a newer type of delivery system that eliminates (ROS). Reactive Oxygen Species: All comments are welcome.
