First Day Back After Sporadic Workout Routine

August 24, 2009

KimoNett

Basically I have been on and off since about May and it just does not make me happy.  I really need to make my workouts a part of my life because I only have one life to live and I am wasting it away.  Not living healthy is only shortening my life and it really gets me down.  I think it has a lot to do with stress at home and work; however, that is just an excuse because I have been taking the easy way out by eating comfort food and losing myself in laziness.  Well, it is definitely time to live up to my profile name.  I have been there before and it is time to get back to the grind!  Stay true to yourself because no one else will do it for you!

This has been a pretty ruff thirty days…at first things were going really well for me, I was losing the fat, getting stronger and getting a little more size.  The problem was I was feeling groggy, drained and I wasn’t being productive at work.  I then discovered I was taking to much protein and not enough carbs which caused all the side affects I pointed out above.  I then changing my diet up which resulted with me keeping my same body fat percentage for two weeks!  It kind of brought me down because I’ve been working pretty hard in the gym…I’m getting stronger; however, I can not see the gains because of my diet!  Anyway, I’m tweaking my diet again and I hope I get it right this time!  I don’t want to be that strong fat guy…I want to see the muscles I’m working!  I’m just a little disappointed in myself right now which is a good thing because that means I’m definitely not satisfied with the way I look.  I’m going to ride this train all the way!!!  Stay Strong and remember, pain means to take a break and stretch…it doesn’t mean it’s time to quit!

Day Six

February 17, 2009

KimoNett

Day Six…how time flies when one is having fun!  Today is my day off so I’m a little bummed though I did have a great workout yesterday!  It feels great when there is an obvious improvement in endurance and strength during the workout!  I’m really looking forward to seeing how much I’ve progressed around day fourteen.  I’ll post some new pics and get my stats entered.  It is definitely great to be a part of this MuscleTech Transformation contest…I know I will definitely continue this routine once the competition is done because of how it makes me feel!

Day Four

February 15, 2009

KimoNett

I had a good workout yesterday and today I hope to have another good workout!  It all seems to be falling into place…as a matter of fact, it has been easier for me to diet then it had been in the past.  I have had more than enough opportunities to cheat; however, I turn it all away.  It is really a great feeling.  As for my weight…I have actually lost six pounds since I started eating clean on Thursday…I hope I can keep this going until May…

Day Two

February 13, 2009

KimoNett

I’m about to hit the gym; however, I must of pulled my groin muscle this last weekend because I was only able to leg press about a quarter of the weight…I should be asking myself "do I continue to work my legs as normal, do I just use light weights and go through the motions or should I just lay off my legs all together?"  Well, I’m off to work some upper body; though, tomorrow I’m suppose to finish up my legs…

First Day…

February 12, 2009

KimoNett

Today is my first day and I can’t even workout!  I’m tired because I wasn’t able to get to bed until 2AM.  So, it would be stupid of me to workout and make my body even more exhausted then it already is…tomorrow will be a new day!
