A Poem I wrote a few years ago…
Between here & there
We’ll meet between here & there
When the moon rises and the sun sets
And love and fear do the dance of passionate snakes
Like the eternal spinning of a Sufi prayer
Or the pause between the inhale and the exhalation of a meditation breathe
We’ll meet in the center of the fire
Here is where Truth lays
Where the head and the heart commit in total harmony
As the ripples expanding from the center of the water
Where the fallen stone breaks the surface
