There are a lot of reasons why a person might stay up till 04:30 in the morning, and sleep untill noon. Wheather it be stress, work, or for fun. But I have found that in my personal arena, where I play as much as possible during the day, and stay up working on paper work all night, I get a lot done.
I have made myself a rutine. I wake up in time for lunch. I check on my guys, and give them tasks for the day. We work on whatever comes through the aid station, and sometime before dinner roles around, I try and hit the gym. Sometimes I have to wait till the sun goes down. Then comes the hours apon hours of my "real" job… which I hate. Paper work. Getting and keeping records and supplies in order.
This is not a job I ever wanted. Paper work is something that the clerks can keep. If you are or ever did hold a clerk type possition, I have nothing but respect for you. I’ve never been so bored in all my life. I don’t know how you do it. I ussualy have to get up and move around every couple hours just so I don’t fall over dead. Sometimes I go back to the gym to play some basketball, at which I suck. I can’t believe that they call this a "promotion". It seems like the higher I get in rank, the less fun I get to have. I’ve been taken off the line after 5 years of service. My job is to inventory and order medical supplies, and keep my aid station running. I can’t wait till I can go on to bigger better things.
When I get back to the States, I leave for the "Q". I’ve already been selected. If you’re military, you may know what that means. Let’s just say it’s going to bring me back to the feild I love, and put me in the greatest shape of my life. I think I can handle some late nights, and late mornings for now. There’s nothing quite like a light at the end of your long dark tunnle.

…and that was rocket number 25, just now. I don’t know if I’ll make it to the gym today. Something about waiting in an aid station for casualties instead of working out. Should be fun. Hope I get to eat sometime today. lol.

Turns out that long days and long nights with very little sleep aren’t good for growth or recovery. Sometimes I hate my job. Like all the paper work I’m doing right now, instead of resting. I could use a nap.
I ran today though… First time in a long time that I’ve been able to do that. I don’t know if you realise what that means for me. I used to run every day. It’s not good for leg size either, so I hear. I’ve been learning a lot lately as to why I’ve always stayed so thin. Running and "rucking" are bad for growth. Too bad I love them both so much. Maybe I can curb that desire someday and change it to squats.
I need to get back to work though, so I’ll hobble back over to my closet/office and try to get this stuff all knocked out. Fun fun fun.

Okay, so I got to work out in our new gym today, and I have to say, "it rocks". I guess it’s not as good as the gyms back home in the states, but I’ve never built a gym back in the states. We built this one. I’ll see if I can get a picture or two of it to post so you can see what I mean. I can’t wait to use it again. I’m pumped.

We have been building a new gym here on our Out-Post for the past month or two, and it’s finaly done! They painted and sealed the floors today so we weren’t aloud in there all day long. Kind of a forced rest day. Oh well, at least it’s finaly done.

Okay, so here’s the deal… My goal is to loose body fat, while gaining lean, strong mass. Most of all on my legs. My legs have always been a problem area for me, and a bit of a tender subject. My upper body has grown with ease over the past six months but my legs, though growing stronger, are not growing in size. If you have any ideas or know what may help me out, please leave a comment for me.
