Well, since I told everyone I’d compete at the Wisconsin provided I place Top 2 - I have to stick to my word and do it, even though a part of me was hesitant at first.
Work has been ridiculously busy, plus I just finished moving - where does the time go?
While getting up at 4:45 am everyday sucks (and not getting home until 8:30 pm), I am still very excited I chose to compete again and am definitely going to be ready by show time. Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement! I rarely log on anymore but once life slows down, I’ll find the time to chat.
Keep training hard!

I’ve been meaning to blog since I started training, but man do my days fly by with no time left to do it! I’m starting to get nervous as today marks exactly one month from my show date - my first figure show that is.
I’ll be competing in the Fox Cities Bodybuilding Show (Appleton, WI) - and as of today, it’s starting to hit me. Yeah, the day marks exactly one month out, but I also spoke to the event organizer for the first time today - it hit me that this is really happening. FINALLY!
I just hope I am ready. It’s so hard when I am surrounded by males in the gym and bodybuilders as my friends. I get discouraged that my abs aren’t popping like theirs, only to remind myself, I’m a girl and we aren’t supposed to look like that…at least I’m not (yet).
My biggest worry is if my legs will be ready. I work them hard twice a week, but my knees are really weak so I don’t use as much weight as I’d like. Still I see results and I know I am growing…I just hope everything falls into place.
Dieting is getting worse as I am cutting down more. I really miss peanut butter, sauvignon blanc, cheeseburgers, pizza and french toast. Ooo and cereal!
