I know many of you have all heard so many gripes and Rants before but it helps me to share and learn from you.
I got an ear full from a person on a machine today, it used to be us girls were afraid to go into the weight room for fear of bothering the guys in there, I am more afraid to go near the machines for fear of being bitched at by some of the machine members of society. lol Some of those women can be down right mean and they are the ones sitting there talking on their cell phone or to another person next to them but not doing anything on the machine besides resting.
I made the mistake today of asking if I could kindly get in a set as well. I did time my request so that I didnt interrupt her…just in case she was in the middle of something.
I know everyone has a certain rest period during specific sets but this lady, long story short, proceded to tell me that she is well aware of gym etiquette and informs me that the rest period is a portion of the set where she has every right to still spend it occupying the machine. She was on her cell phone for like 10 minutes!!!!
I am much more comfortable with the big guys and fellow sisters in the weight room. They have always been welcoming where ever I go, are all very kind and extremely helpful when needed.
Much love to my weight lifting brothers and sisters out there!!!
But still, this lady really bitched me out…
Ok rant over - thanks for listening!!!
XOXO

I recently tried to change it up a bit by eating non meat protein to see what happens. Wow, I probably didnt do it right as I felt terrible. I have always done the lean chicken, fish, egg whites thing and thought I would possibly sub in some beans, soy, etc… My weight increased and my look got smooth. So when I went back to the meat based products it came off and I felt better.
I will stick to my meat based protein but, would be great to learn how to correctly sub-in non-meat protein that is equal to what I need out of the meat based ones and not feel like crap.

Ok a small rant that I could not resist sharing…
Since I am going on a few spring and summer trips and loving the little strappy summer dress’s that are coming out, I thought I would stop into Sephora to see what type of Bronzy stuff I could start checking out to bring out the hard work I have been putting into my arms.
I work so hard and love the results I am seeing, I definitely want to show them off a bit this spring and summer. So I proceed to venture over to the, "Create a Glow" area and of course I get asked if I am needing help.
I ask her, "what is the latest and greatest in the tan and glow arena because I am really wanting to go with all of those great sleevless and strappy dress’s that are out". Her Reply, " Oh I totally see where you are going and I know you definitely want to get those Veins in your uppper arms covered, especially for any cute photos we difinitely dont want those icky things showing up, Lets get you over to the coverage section first, Have you tried MAC"?
HAHAHA I actually did laugh and told her I dont want to cover I am actually proud of those veins, They come from working out.
Some times you just have to laugh but UUUGGGHHHH the nerve of some people lol.

So my next rant up for discussion…
I was informed that there are others in my work environment conerned about the little green packet I always place in my morning coffee or oatmeal. As they have not seen this before and was concerned of banned substances in the work place.
So I was approached by someone who obviously took it from my belongings and turned it in.
So long story short, I wrote an email to all those concerned letting them know that it is STEVIA!!!! A sweetner and the reason why they may have never seen this is because they obviously do not shop at health food stores. Why , if they had the guts to go into my belongings and take it that they just google it to find out what it was.
Again others not being happy for someone trying to stay healty and fit and making life hard. I am the most approachable person there is all they had to do was ask. I would have been pleased to even let them have it to try it out or share anything I had on it.
But instead they cause un-needed drama.

I have been letting a few rants build up so, I have decided to let a few out.
I am a beginner in my new world of fitness and only have been doing this for a year or so now. I absolutely love the results I get and seeing the definition take place.
That is where my rant starts. Instead of people being happy for my happiness in the way I look and feel, I have noticed that I become the topics of their little tea parties. " What is up with her eating all of that smelly canned fish crap…" etc…
I often get asked if I want anything at starbucks from colleagues doing the SBux runs. I usually say no thanks but recently said, " sure I will treat myself to a Friday coffee" and asked for a small (Tall) non-fat latte.
When I got my coffee back I started to drink it and noticed it didnt taste non-fat. I went to see if they maybe gave me the wrong one but, caught them laughing, over their gigantic frozen drinks and pastries that " hahaha we sooooo got her, hope she cant fit into her pants tomorrow…
Why on earth would people try to do this. Of course I confronted them and one of them was dumb enough to ask how I could tell the difference and blamed another lady for telling me, which she didnt. Do they not get the fact that you can taste the difference??? Especially for fit people, you can really taste when you been off heavy fat or even salted foods because the least bit of fat, salt, sugar or whatever really hits your taste buds.
I cant believe people cannot be happy for someones health and happiness. It disgusts me to no end.
