Hi everyone! I think it was time to write a little something on here to update my situation these days. I don’t know what is going on with me but i’m definetly on the wrong track. The last few month were not really succesful on the fitness side. I mean..Even if I was the ultimate gymrat, was considering entering my first figure contest this June, was so passionnate by nutrition…I’ve been slacking . I just can’t find the energy to hit the gym more than 2-3 times a week and dieting has never been that hard. If I’m eating clean on day, then I’m destroying all my effort by splurging on the nearest carbs source the other.
BUT Thanks to that hot chick at the gym today..looking at her makes me realize how bad I feel about myself now and how badly I want to get back in the track..

It’s a beautiful day here in Quebec city. I think I should be able to run outside soon…yeah!!
Yesterday I began my new workout program with back&triceps doing dropsets + high volumes low reps. I’m trying to add some muscle before starting to do cardio like crazy;) And today was the leg day!! I’ don’t remember having worked my glutes that hard! It is going to hurt! I’ll probably be unable to sit on the toilet again for one week:)
That’s good, I will keep me moving!
Oh, and I wanted to know.. I had someone measuring some skinfolds with the callipers but I’m not sure how to calculate these and get my bodyfat percentage. I found many bodyfat calculators on the web but each time I got a different result. I went from 29.5% which would be a tragedy to 10% which is my goal but I know I’m definitly not there. So if somebody have the true equation and would like to share it with me, you’d be an angel;)
Thanks everyone and keep pushing hard!

…Yesterday I went back to the gym and as I was so exited suscribing on my first contest I trained my legs like a freak. It feels horrible this morning when I had to walk to school..it was like if the stairs to enter my faculty were higher. Anyways, I must have done something good:) Talking about that contest…its like if nobodies here in Quebec never heard about fitness. Everyone whom I share my excitment with is like: euhhhhumm Karen you dont need to do this, you already look good and sh** like this. I think they see me becoming a bodybuilder. It’s my fourth day of perfect dieting im so proud. It takes a little planification but I’ll be great soon. My contest preparation begins monday anyway it’s just like a warm up..Oh..and I’ll talk about the decision to my boyfriend tonight..or tommorow;) I hope he’ll be supportive..As YOU! Thanks a lot all for the cheerful words I needed that.

Okay! It’s been a week since I haven’t working out due to a terrible Flu:(
I tried to stick to my diet thought, even I wasn’t hungry and was sleeping 12 hours a day..During this time of notraining/nostudying/noworking I discovered something interresting in the web; I found that there is going to be a figure contest here in Quebec city on June 7th. That would give me 14weeks to prepare myself for what would be my very first contest. My trainer told me that he thinks I wouln’t be ready and that I would be very frustrating for me to compete with others girls with a "better shape than me".
I’m competitive and those words just gave me a strong desire to enter that contest anyway..What do you think? Is 14 weeks enough to do it? How should I spend those weeks….bulking/cutting?…any diet tips?
I’m 5′0 112lbs….not sure about my bodyfat percentage I’ll add it soon
Thank for your help and all the sweet comments and, aussi, I know my english isn’t perfect but I try to improve it so if you want to correct me on my post you are very welcome!:)xx
