I just ran into this blog about three weeks ago and when I read it I was astonished with the weight gain/loss you had during the day given your size. It seemed really high to me but I've never really weighed myself like that. Since then I've actually been weighing myself a few times a day during the day for a couple of days a week. I haven't come anywhere near that much difference in a day and I weight considerably more than you. How the heck were you losing or gaining up to 9 pounds a day? Were you measuring yourself on the same scale each day wearing the same amount of clothing (or lack of it) each time? My weight only fluctuates about +/- 3 pounds during the day even if I'm highly physically active.

I was allways told, while growing up, "A good name is rather to be chosen, than riches &amp; glory". I guess i understand the meaning as... yea, your name is very important, thatyou try to do what is right, in all being honest &amp; true to yourself &amp; others, allways striving to acheive whats good in life. In all achiveing your Ultimate Goals, &amp; by accomplishing all these things, then U shall be rewarded w/ the riches &amp; glory! I wish you much success, hey you R allready on your way!!!

Chalk up another vote for first thing in the morning. I think that provides the most consistent set of conditions you can get.

That's interesting. I always weigh myself in the morning and once a week. usually fridays or saturdays. it would take a lot of mental strength for me to weigh myself at night before i go to bed. ;-)

I think ambriossa is right. I was always told to weight yourself in the morning as your stomach had digested everything by then and you had been fasting while asleep. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, I will be weighing my self in the morning. I love the way I look and feel first thing in the morning. Too bad by the end of the day my morning appeal is lost.

You look really great too :-)

I usually weigh myself 1st thing in the morning, before liquids, food, and after a restroom break. Throughout the day, you consume food and liquids so your weight is going to fluctuate. I found that if you weigh yourself in the morning, I think you'll get the most accurate measurement of your weight--you look amazing btw!
