Just wanting to purge some of my thoughts here today – I guess some may call this a rant; however, its not. As the holiday season is approaching, the general population somehow decides that they will use this as an excuse to go off their diets, stop working out, and wait until the “ New Year “ to set things straight for themselves in terms of getting physically fit. I have done this in the past, I must admit. However, now it’s a whole new life that I have and have to remain fit and strong for photo shoots, meet and greets and of course shows that I will be doing.
( I am getting to my point here LOL) My point to this blog that I am writing is because its just makes me laugh how people say – “ I am planning on doing this show and that show – in ie: the spring; for example and are stuffing their faces with holiday goodies from now until the end of the year.
If someone is SERIOUSLY considering of doing a show in February or March, you should have started dieting down already, not talking about how much food your consumed over the holiday season, and then thinking my eating clean for the next week or so until the holiday is going to get your body tight and ripped for a show in the Spring.
I see some people on here still planning on a show for the last year or so and have not moved forward at all which in some cases by choice. Whether it be for financial reasons or whatever IF YOU WANT IT BAD ENOUGH - you would do it.
Stop making excuses, I know them all and have myself used them ALL.
It takes some serious dedication, desire and determination to step foot on that stage. Some may succeed and some won’t. I myself know that I will bring 110% to that stage come March 2009.
Me for example, I started dieting a few weeks ago- not super strict just very clean – I am 90% their already, and do not have far to go. I have to start being “strict” come January.
I always try to remember these words a friend of mine said:
IF YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE A FOX- YOU HAVE TO SWEAT LIKE A PIG!!! NOT EAT LIKE ONE
