I don't know the exact reasoning, but yeah. That gaining in weight happened to me &amp; my girl-partner. She's doing only cardio. I'm doing a combination of weights &amp; cardio. Both of us have stuck to it and are losing now.
She's looking WAY better even though she's only lost a minimal amount!
...and when your arms give out, don't give up! Headbutt that bag if necessary!!!

I twitch depending on the workout and the weights I'm using. Legs and arms are especially like that. Chest evey now and again. I also find it bad after running over 15 kms. Usually lasts a little while or until I finish stretching.

definitely go into a cool down mode after your workouts...this will help..during your cool down, just try to slow down the heart rate out of the "zone" and then move into some stretching once your heart rate has slowed..this will help tremendously.

It took me a little bit to figure out what you were talking about when you said 'twitching', but thats probally the best way to describe it. I usually feel that when I work the same muscle for an extended period of time, maybe throughout the whole routine, but I agree, stretching does help.

Thanks! I'm glad I'm not alone on the twitch front! I seem to gain muscle fast - but haven't had as much twitching after workouts as I have lately. I'll give stretching a go! Cheers agian.
