missed my post yesterday so this is for both. Lifted legs rather hard yesterday, even tho i hate lifting legs. then did some speed work with one of my players. lets were really sore this morning but got walmed up during the football lift. after the football workout was over i lifted back pretty hard and am feeling a great pump in my lats and traps amd ,y elbow actually didnt hurt today! just need to get my "assistant strength coach" to quit yapping and workout so he stops making my workout take FOREVER!

so im back on track. finally have a set schedule and can be consistant, this helps BIG TIME because im a creature of habit when it comes to my "day" life. today was my first day as Strength Coach at St. Marys High School and things went really well. The kids need a lot of work on squat and clean tech. but that will all come with time and practice. After the players were gone I lifted Bi’s and Tri’s. I got a good lift in doing about 5 exercises each, 3 sets of about 8 reps. I still dont have the definition i would like in my arms, but the mass seems to be getting much better. and im stronger than i have ever been. well thats about it for today….not that im in a consistant routine ill be back daily

I skipped deadlift tho b/c my legs are still sore from crushing them ut on wednesday. and i wont lie i was a little hung over from celebrating a HUGE penguins win last night……cant wait for game 5! but my lats are feeling very good and have been getting much stronger so hopefully will start growing soon ha ha!

I had a great workout today. not only was my lift great but i helped out some of my new players, i love being a strength coach! my legs are very weak and that NEEDS to change! I’ll keep on truckin and hopefully ill get some results soon!

well i guess its my 1st "real" day back. Today is a leg day, not my favorite but ill give it all i got. decided to start tracking my eating habits in a journal, i really dont think im eating enough to get the kind of gains im looking for. ill probably start posting daily post-workout, just another way to keep me on track and motivated.

shoulders, or the day of fire as i like to call it. nothing burns like your delts after a good shoulder workout. I started off with military press barbell style, then headed right to dumbbells for some more of the same. im trying to build mass so i try to go heave but still pump out around 8 reps. the gym was pretty empty today, may have been the blizzard keeping people at home, but anyway i liked it. once again my roommate was able to lift with me so that always helps………i hit some core after that and all in all it was a good workout. knowing im flying home friday is keeping me motivated this week….i cant wait to get home! miss the burgh like crazy! well i think thats all i got for today………….
physical limitations are but mental hurdles overcome by hard work and determination

Well, i didn’t get a chance to write a post on Friday. shit happens i guess. but i hit back pretty good even tho i was kinda hung over from drowning some sorrows in thursday night. but thats all behind me now and its a fresh start to the week this week. I’m super motivated this week because i’m heading back home to pennsylvania for my christmas break on friday. i want to look my best when i get home , no one has seen me since june, so hopefully they will be surprised in the gains ive made! I’m trying to cut back on the whole drinking thing because its so many empty calories and i alkways get super dehydrated and end up losing around 4-5lbs each weekend. this would all be a lot easier if i could just find a good girl who was as into fitness as i am, so i could just chill with her instead of hitting the bars to meet girls. but why meet a girl in South Dakota and then finish my masters in May and head back to Pennsylvania? just sucks being stuck in a spot like this. but anyway enough boo hooing. I got a GREAT bi and tri workout today, the pump in my arms belt amazing and i had veins popping out in my arms everywhere. i love getting into that zone where you feel like you could work out all day and need to stop yourself before you overtrain. i used to think there was no such thing as overtraining, but thats how you nend up getting injured and i dont want to risk that right now. A few of my players found out that I’m planning on getting into a competition sometime and are being super supportive, they want me to do it before may in SD so they can come, but theres no way i would be ready……not even close. but its a new week…..i get to go home and see all my loved ones on friday……and i’m loving life right now! and o yeah….GO STEELERS!

this will be a short one…..i had a shitty day, wrote a shitty paper, got a pretty good chest workout, and am now gonna drink the pain away…..today is my moms birthday, she died 5 years ago from cancer. so…..im gonna drink a lot of wild turkey, listen to shinedown simple man about 50 times, possibly crya lil……who knows, who cares

well today was a leg day…..nuff said i think……My roomate actually decided to lift with me today even tho he is nursing a back injury. we hit the leg press really hard, and i went on to RDL’s after that but he just did his ext and curls because of his back. I think my lift went pretty well over all. i felt a great pump in my quads and hams and then moved on and supersetted a bunch of calves and abs. after i was done i wish i woulda done some lower back core stuff but ya cant hit everything i guess. Squats kill my back otherwise i would do them, and i deadlift on back days. i definetly pushed myself really hard today because of starting this bodyspace yesterday, its a great way to keep yourself motivated. well thats all for today i think…….late
