Thread Bombs / Scarfing!!

Decided this week to chill out eating so gawdamn much. I thought about it, my lean body mass is probly only about 230lbs (I have about 20-25lbs of butter to burn still). Right now Im doin the job hunt so I’m only "exercise-active" for about an hour a day.

Was eatin every 3 hrs but I’m gonna spread it out a little more. Maybe go with about 2200-2300 cals, 270-280 protein, 150 carbs. Should have enough fuel with this combo for energy and muscle food, without having too much raw materials left over to be stored as fat.

Plus I interviewd with Comcast today and it looks like after a month of training, I d be climbin up telephone poles and wormin thru attics, so Im sure that droppin some pounds wouldnt hurt! I’m actually gonna get my walkin again. I just envisioned getting stuck in an old lady’s attic, having a mouse crawl up my ass, and then tryin to explain it to a doctor

Thread Bombs / monkey dance

The relatives have gone! I look forward to their visits for weeks, but after 4 days of a cryin kid, hangovers, sleepin on an air mattress,  little exercise, and eventually junkfood. I was glad to see em pullin outta the driveway. I love em, but damn!

Got back into the groove again today with healthy menu and my first real workout today, it was great. Gonna start walking again this week. Got some awesome shoes (Magnum Vipers) that work really well with my inserts, so ill start with 20 minutes and add to it gradually.

I wanna try out uploadin / postin a youtube clip. Heres one of when i needed some "quiet" time, i escaped outside and got a quick clip of the knuckleheads. They were hunting the evil and very elusive sea monster that they are sure is in the pool.

Dropped 2 lbs this week.

Since i failed miserably at my first attempt with carb cycling I attribute it to the change I made in the timing of starchy carbs.

I have 1/2 cup oatmeal, as soon as i wake up with my protein drink. Then I have oatmeal 1 hr before and 1/2 cup brown rice soon after I exercise. This way the starchy stuff is used up rather than sittin around like a bunch of hobos at a bus stop.

My 2 anytime carbs (pure protein bar and fake ice cream) stayed the same. Those suckers keep me sane

Is that a protein bar or did your kid **** in my pool?!

Im gettin prepared to ask that very question! My sister, kid, and husband  are comin down next friday. Should be fun, BUT I know that kid is gonna go # 2 in my pool… many times… Thats where i do cardio nowdays , so if you think about it. It’d be like somebody takin a dump on your treadmill. I’m scared of contracting cooties or some kind of Singapore Butt Slugs.

a few changes in mind for next week

Read a few things lately by Flex mag, Layne Norton, and a bodybuilder from bodyspace (infamous25) that Im interested in trying em out in the coming weeks. Not changin "what" I eat, but "when" and "how much" I eat em.

Flex - Recommends a protein shake first thing as well as carbs. "When u sleep body turns to liver for glycogen, then the muscles. Taking in carbs stops this catabolism." Reshuffling my oatmeal.

Layne mentioned in a forum, "Fat before a workout lowers GH release". Flex recommends "walnuts with casein at night to further slow the rate of digestion." Pretty much just shufflin around when i eat walnuts.

Lastly Im gonna cycle my carbs a little. Im tired of f*ckin around with this fatloss, I wanna get it over with already!  Not gonna restrict to the point of gettin cranky and/or sluggish, but just enough to keep things interesting. 150, 125, 100 should be a pretty painless routine to start with,  by just eliminating a snack each day. If I start feelin like the pics ill re-tweak the #’s.

BASELINE DIET:
=2 scoops whey, 1/2 cup oatmeal
=3 eggs
=Pure Protein Bar
=Chicken breast, 2 fat free cheese, green veg;Fake Ice Cream
=Weight control oatmeal, 1 scoop whey
=Lift   {whey/casein, 1 cup skim milk}   cardio
=Big Can Tuna or steak, 1/2 cup brown rice, veg.
=3 eggs
=casein, walnuts

got my second wind this week

Got my second wind this week as far as cardio goes. Ive been content for about a month with my progress, and my feet are still kinda sensitive from my year of walking so I halted cardio. Got some new T shirts and they werent flattering. Im at a weird point where Im right between shirt sizes. They either look too baggy or a tad too snug around the belly. Snapped me back to reality that i still have a good amount of butter to burn.

Ive adopted swimming for cardio so my feet bones can continue to heal up. Swimmin laps is a hell of a workout man! WHo knew?! Till now the pool has only been used for beer fueled BBQ’s or  playing the sea monster game with ethel and lucie.
Been doin 20-30 minutes after I lift. Ill do my first weighin / BF%  this sunday so I’ll see where Im at right now.Speaking of sunday - Big Brother on CBS starts again!!!

july 6th - finally back to normal

Had a good time this weekend.  Lots of compliments from the relatives, more animals than u could shake a stick at blah blah blahy.

My body definitly performs different on a high fat , high carb, low protein diet. Very sluggish and dirty feeling. Aside from a pickle, I didnt see 1 f*ckin green vegetable in 3 days. Its amazing the way that my relatives eat!
Had a UFC shindig last nite with some friends, so more of the same.

partytime is over finally. Back home now so I cooked all my normal stuff for the next few days. Gonna chug water and eat clean so I can flush out the hangovers and toxins. Ill feel like myself again tommorow just in time to throw the weights around. Nice to be on the healthy tip again

I was in walmart bullshittin around while my mom was examining every single bra that they had. Outta curiosity i looked at the cargo shorts again.

When they came into style a year ago I thought cargo shorts were really cool lookin, but they didn’t come in size 48-50, so i had to stick with the big man elastic shorts, with NO pockets. I swore to myself.. “one day Ill be able to rock those bastards.”

There I was today, keys clipped to my waistband, wallet in my hand, same elastic bigman shorts.  It dawned on me that Im a size 42-40. I said what the  F*CK are you doin holmes?! Grab a pair of cargos and try those badboys on.  It was awesome! More pockets than I know what to do with. Lookin forward to gettin dolled up tommmorow,.

I post this not to brag, but just to re-emphasize what I consistently find to be true:

“See” your goal, bust your ass everyday, and before you know it - that goal will be a reality. You just have to stick with it and not give up on yourself!!
