should be an interesting weigh in / BF measure tommorow. since i have a slight case of tendinitis in my knees this week from the elliptical (I was either usin too high an angle or my foot placement was sloppy, i have no idea). Been usin ice pack 3x per day, especially after exercise.
the only cardio I’ve done are my morning walks and 20 minutes of water treading in the pool at night, so needless to say cardio has been low intensity this week; Ive never had bad knees before this week, and I don’t like it very much - I wanna heal em up ASAP.. Diet has been right on and Ive been killin my gallon of water each day. We shall see!
Somebody found a highlighter to play with

My knees have been tender this week. I don’t squat, haven’t jogged or ran since the park has been closed 2 weeks ago, so i narrowed it down to my fanatical elliptical use. I don’t have pain, but a "minor discomfort" , in both knees. I called my sister who is a former workout junkie and she said how she’d get it too every now and then also - because of how at certain points in the movment, all your weight is transfers to the knee. Basically said it goes away if you lay off the elliptical for a while. As stubborn as I want to be about it, I m gonna play it safe and give the ellip a vacation till this blows over - I can’t afford to push it and develop permanent knee problems
I walked 45 minutes this morning and felt fine, so Ill keep those up. As for post lift cardio - i think for a few days Im just gonna strap on my heart monitor and paddle my ass off in the pool, as long as i stay above 120 bpm’s, im makin money; we’ll see sunday! It’ll be a nice change but I sure hope this doesn’t slow down my fat loss. Diet strictness is gonna be no joke this week. Lucy and Ethel love to bark their furry little asses off at the Sea Monster, so at least they’ll be havin fun

Last week’s results were awesome, but the celebration is officially over now. Time to get nasty, refocused, and kick some more ass this week.

-2.2LBS and - .2%BF
I only jogged 1 day this week (field was closed) but I was very strict on my diet and made sure to get my gallon of water per day.
Woke up today and noticed that my body felt great - no joint soreness, creaky knees, or rusty shoulders. The combo of the water and Animal Flex is incredible! Only took about a week for the Flex to work its magic.
Gonna workout tonite and have my usual Sunday reward of some alcohol-free beer. Looks, smells, and tastes like beer - just without all the booze calories or the hangover. Only $3 and 300 calories for a 6pk. Great way to stay strict, while still being able to chill out and relax with a few beers on Sundays!

Ive been in a daze ever since finding my start pic yesterday (its in my pics), so I wanted to try out my jeans. These are 48’s in the patented big dog brand - wrangler relaxed fit. I told myself at the begining of this mission that I wont buy new jeans until I have no belly; I’m gonna cave in tho, I feel like a d*ckhead wearin such baggy jeans when im on my hog.
Took a few flexing pics with the flash turned off, cuz it makes me look kinda flat and washed out. These will probly be the last pics till I burn off the remaining chub. All the years of hiding from cameras has made me way too critical, so selecting pics can drive me apeshit! Very happy I took these and was able to see the progress Ive made tho.
*If I can do that in a year, ANYBODY can. Ya just gotta keep at it*

Gonna be a good week, I can feel it. After seein the results of last week’s “relaxed” diet plan, I’m totally recommitted to the strictness that got me this far; as much as i hate peein all day, I’m even gonna start chuggin my gallon of water again.

Less than stellar results this week. BF% stayed the same and i gained 1lb (I’m not gonna trip about weight alone anymore.) As hard as ive been exercising, its defitnitly due to nutrition factors.
Lookin back at the fitday for the week, I think I got a little cocky; looks like I substituted protein bars and fake ice cream for vegetables. Calories per day were 200-300 higher than I want em to be. This was definitly a kick in the ass to get back on course

Going to keep track of what I’m doing and increase the joggin gradually this week. I think my hips got rusty last week because I jumped right into the running; didn’t give this big frame ample time to adjust to the pounding. Another lesson learned
- tues - 30 walk, 5 jog
- wed - 40 walk, 8 jog
- thrs - 40 walk, 9 jog/sprints
- fri - 40 walk, 8 jog/run
- sat - 30 walk - 10 jog
UPDATE:
Well i gave it 6 days and I feel 100% better. I switched from joggin on the street - to a soccer field. Plus I think that my body just got used to it;
I haven’t moved my ass this fast since football practice days back in 1991, so I think my joints were inflammed and scared shitless for a few days. Got my Animal Flex today also, so I’m wrappin up this jog log. Problem solved!
