new macros, new menu, new supplement
Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008As of sunday i overhauled my menu to rely MUCH less on the protein shakes. I think i was missin out on alotta vitamins, etc and my body had adapted. I consulted with a pro on here, and i got optimal macros for my goal. I have room to taper in the future, but heres where they stand now.
Hover around - cals 2300-2500, 65 fat, 150 carb, 230 protein:
5am - wake - 2 scoops whey *CARDIO*
7am - 3 eggs, 1/2 cup oats
10 - chicken breast, 1 fat free cheese, 1/2 cup brown rice, cauliflower
1pm - 1 pack quaker weight control oats, 1 cup skim milk, walnuts
*LIFT / elliptical*
3pm - pure protein bar, 2 cups skim milk, banana
5pm- steak or big can tuna, 1 fat free cheese
8pm - 3 eggs
=== only supps i take now are 3 fish oil, 1 multi, and 2 l-carnitine tabs. feelin good, intense cardio and lift sessions; not sluggish during the day and wide awake at night like before. dont know if its due to the carnitine, the new menu, or that im including HIT; whatever it is - its workin! lookin forward to the weigh in this weekend.
