grrrrrr……

although ive been consistent with cardio, not cheatin on diet, lifting harder and heavier than ever, i had a feeling i wouldnt drop any pounds this week. actually gained a pound, water, muscle, fat - who knows.
my friend joe gave me a great idea of  tracking my body fat % rather than just weight. i remember seein a few tv trainers use a handheld gadget, so i looked on amazon and they are only like $25.  out 85 reviews, it got 4 outta 5 stars so i jumped on it and ordered one.  im sure its not spot on accurate but itll give me an indication of what the chub is doin from week to week. ill measure butt naked first thing every sunday morning to keep it consistent. this oughtta keep me from goin batshit when i have a bad weigh-in.

time to drop the hammer!

decided today that its time to shift this machine into a higher gear and start makin some money again! it dawned on me today that my feet, knees, and hip joints dont ache from cardio now that i dropped about 48lbs, so im gonna start throwin in an extra 20-30 minute ellipical session at night (low-medium intensity). im positive that the plateau ive been in was due to me not increasin the intensity or frequency of my cardio to challenge my new build.

only about 20 lbs to go,  i can see a light at the end of the tunnel; now its time to quit dickin around and annhialate the rest of this damn gut!

*  the No Bull Radio podcasts on musculardevelopment.com  makes cardio time fly.

this is the exercise / supplement scheme i used and felt great:

  • am) wake - 25gms whey, 1 scoop purple wraath (Amino acid drink) 50 minute CARDIO
  • noon) pre-lift: creatine, white flood (energy and NO2)

LIFT/ 30 cardio

  • immediatly post-lift: high octane protein drink - 25gms whey, 25gms casein, 1 tsp BCAAs, 1 tsp glutamine
  • pm) 1 scoop Purple Wraath  20-30 minute cardio

change has been a good thing

decided to make some changes 2 weeks back and its definitly workin. my 2xl T-shirts are fittin great, my belts been needing new holes, and the other day my aunt asked if i was on steroids cuz im changing everyday. thats when i knew i was on to something! so i wanted to jot em down so i dont forget em.
food:
been lazy with vegetables but i got back on the horse this week.  i religiously enter my stuff on fitday.com. i make sure to get between 250-300gms protein daily! any time i eat its either protein powder, steak (london broil), chicken breast, tuna sandwich (whole wheat bread, light mayo), or 3 whole eggs, fat free cheese, natural peanut butter, oats, green vegetables. been craving sweets lately and i found a great deal on Pure Protein bars so ill have that preworkout instead of the south beach bars ive been munching on

supplements:

immediatly after waking - 1 scoop whey and water

cardio - still takin 1.5 scoops Purple Wraath before my AM cardio, 50 minutes walking. hard to stay sleepy when your head is tingling
with breakfast - multi vit, 1gm fish oil, 1 glucosamine (shoulders been feelin rusty), and milk thistle
1 scoop Green Mag creatine 5 days a week, about 9am (so i dont pee all night after my gallon of water)
preworkout energy / NO2 - i’m alternating daily between Superpump 250 and White Flood

post workout drink - 1 scoop whey, casein, glutamine (50% of people say its worthless other 50 recommend it, only 10 bucks for a years worth at walmart so i picked some up).

lifting:

get crankin between 12-1pm instead of 5-6pm . i sleep alot better now, since the stimulants have time to wear off. been doin higher volume to change it up, since i stopped getting next day soreness. about 12-15 sets per bodypart; hitting each part 2X per week.
