Focus-such an easy word to say but so hard to do! I have been working hard this week w/my posing techniques. I never knew what a skill it is to get all the proper moves down…this is going to be so much more difficult than any squat or chest press I’ve ever done-LOL!
I’m so glad to have this website for support. I only have a few friends who understand the reason to compete. Most of my friends/clients/even family members are worried I’m trying to get too thin or look like Arnold. They have don’t have a clue about a figure competition or what the purpose is to participate in one.
This is personal. I’m 40 years old & I am in the best shape of my life-even after 2 kids. I don’t want to be 50 years old wondering…"Woulda…Coulda…Shoulda&
quot;. So, I’m going for it & I plan to think like a winner!
Have a great week!

I have decided to start my blog although I may be the only one who reads it-haha! But, writing down your thoughts is a good thing, right? It helps to process things once you see it in writing.
My long & winding road has been quite the journey. I was an overweight child and consistently struggled with food & exercise into my adult life. Although I was never obese, I definitely didn’t have the figure at 20 that I now have at 40. Anyone have that time capsule developed yet? I would really like to revist those days-LOL!
Now, I’m a personal trainer & on the road to my first competition-the first of many I hope! This blog will be geared toward keeping track of my weekly thoughts (maybe even a struggle or two although I’m not one to concede defeat!).
I cannot believe how much support is on this site. When my friend told me to put my profile on bodyspace I laughed so hard. Are you kidding me? I’m way too old to mingle in the cyber world but I realized it’s so much more than looking at pretty people or comparing bench press stats. This site is an inspiration!!
Everyone can take the easy road…it’s the long & winding road that will get us there.
