So I was working at home today and decided to put 300 on before my workout. After the movie was over I was pretty pumped up so I drank a Monster and headed for the gym. I could tell when I was DLing 315 that it was going to be a good day. So I did some more reps with 385 fairly easily. I decided to throw 5 plates on and I did a rep with ease (the most I had even tried to date). After that I put a ten on each side for a total of 515. I did a rep with a tiny bit of struggle but got it all the way up clean and locked it out. My girlfriend was even there as a witness. She said wow strong arms.

I normally do:
135X10, 225X10, 275X10, 315X3-4, and max out at 335lbs
But today I decided to do less volume and see if I could get 345lbs up. So I only did 275 for 8 and 315 for 3. I put up 345 pretty easily after that. I’m going for 355lbs next week.

I’ve never really been good at squats, being long and lanky, I could never pump out as much as the manlets with a 5" ROM. But I took a week off last week and when I came back my squats were way up. I think my legs needed the rest. Before I was doing 315 for 5 reps but never tried more. Yesterday I said F it and threw on 365lbs, I did a full 3 reps, my best to date.
