Myself

Friday, December 12th, 2008

The summer in 2005 is when I began lifting, of course the usual chest and arms.  I was never fat, but wanted to get shredded.  So I began running.  I was also starving myself.  By the time I went to college, I dropped about 15, from 160-145 pounds and looked somewhat healthy.  College came and the apartments I had, had a gym.  Kept doing what I was doing, was on Deans List for 2 years straight, never partied, never drank.  Lived with a roomate, my best friend.  He dropped out the 1st semester and partied everynight.  Finally I got my own place with an even better gym.  BAD MOVE.  Was still starving myself, and began running even more.  I learned more and more about nutrition and decided to cut carbs.  All I was eating was egss, tuna, and chicken with lettuce equating to maybe 1200 calories.  This is where my anarexia turned to bulimia. I got my weight down to 120 pounds….I’m 6′1, I was a f’n skeleton.  Started failing school, depressed and almost came to suicide, I just couldn’t keep up.  The best thing I did was talked to my dad and moved home. I continued working out and have gotten my weight back to 175 and honestly have never looked better.  I earned my business degree and am currently pursuing my dietetics and nutrion, exercise, and health degree to prevent others from experiencing the hell I went through.  I would like to thank this website and everyone on it for the inspiration and the info that I have learned.  For anyone out there struggling, there is hope.  Please talk to someone.  The worst thing I did was become a hermit, be with friends and family and most of all pray.  I hope I can inspire some with this, God Bless.
