Aiight!! RDL’s kicked my ass..but I look better for it

First on order of course are the foodies for yesterday:

Total cals 1838 *oink* far more than I was going to eat, like 400 cals more…I was SO HUNGRY tho.  I don’t think it had anything to do with the bagel with "lite" cream cheese I got at Dunkin Donuts *batting eyelashes* I left the house with just coffee and protein powder in me belly…hwat was I to do? Plus it tasted so effing good…very salty and I loved it.

Fat 41 g’s which is what? A lick off a grill at a fast food diner, really…..I will buy some avocados….sorry Fat Gods….err,um that would be Gods of the fat….

Carbs 166 DAMN YOU BAGEL!! This did not even help my RDL’s either…..

Protein 187 because I am a giant wall of muscle really.

WTF!!! Why was this so HEAVY!?!? I work with this girl who is having life trauma one after the other and she talks to me during my heavy lifts…I think it is throwing me off. This happened during Monday’s rack pulls as well.  SHUT UP AND PICK UP SOMETHING HEAVY YOURSELF!!!!!!

I know it seems alarmingly low and I would encourage the kids at home to NOT do this. STEP AWAY FROM MY FOOD COUNTS AND EAT! This is for 6 days a week of food, then one day at maintenance…..so it is ok….maybe…I dunno. I am one giant red haired science experiment.

Ok I felt STRONG here, no idea why but I felt stronger…..I guess I am stronger when starving…my muscles last struggle for life.

Ok the effing seat moves. It is an adjustable bench so it can go to an incline and DAMN if it did not piss me off because it wiggled as I would get the weight up. I wanted to jump up and throw the bench….I refrained.

HIIT for 5 minutes of the 8 seconds with 5 minute cool down…yeah I know cardio for 10 minutes. [i]It’s how I roll.[/i]

For the class I taught I did bands rather than weights because I was bored teaching them weight training so we messed around with bands. Bands are weird…..I spent 45 minutes wrestling with large cloth covered elastics…then we stretched out. Really that is the only time I get really decent stretches, and I need to do it more. With the Good Mornings lately my hip sockets are always sore. I am done squatting now as well, my knees just can’t take it…..thunder thigh building suggestions wanted, please!!

Life is busy right now! (normally life crawls around all slow looking for something to do, right?)

Hitting the weights DUH and eating clean. Cardio can kiss my a**…I just don’t have the motivation for cardio right now….and don’t care that I do not…I am anti-cardio….I will start a campaign and spread the new gospel according to Moe..cardio sucks ass. There, glad that is out in the open  :)

I just wanted to update the blog to say YES I am still ON THIS and all over it. Just don’t feel like spelling out "I had toast with PB and PP then did 22 sets of bicep curls and woke up the next day skinny"

Cals are low but the day before was a sports/food fiesta. We had the Red Sox and The Patriots games to watch and what is a game without food? Whatever I missed this day for food I am sure I had already the day before….weight is 180 CARB BLOAT as well.

Workout for Sept 17th 2007

Rack Pulls 5×5

185-205-255-285-255(for 9 reps) WOOOHOO!! My traps know it today already! That damn neck pain is gone as well…..I love rack pulls….in 2 weeks I want to lift 300. When i picked up the 285 it seemed less daunting than when I first tried the 275. I think it is because when I first lifted the 275 it felt like it would not move and then I lifted it. This time I expected that feeling and was not shocked it felt so heavy just getting it up off the rack.

Noting spectacular here. I was talking with 2 coworkers during the rest of my workout too….

Fat 40 *that is like a snack size portion of fat, eh?

Carb 48.6 *Ok this was not even intentional..I am just focusing on lower cals

So…messing around I did some
reverse grip lat pull downs 5×5 (this was a shoulder rehab exer for me)

WOOOHOO!! Back to the lifts last night for a little bit! It was 11 days between workouts and 14 days on caloric maintenance…WOW it seemed to take FOREVER!! I was not cleared from the doc to "really" lift so I messed around to see what would bug me and what would not….skipped cardio because that ALWAYS bugs me anyway *heh heh*

So FOODIES Sept 10th 2007

Cals 1440 * I am comforted by low cals…step off.

Fat 30g’s * I AM MOE STILL!! FEW!!!

Carbs 150 *eh that is a bit high for low cals….but it was an unplanned macro must eat low cal kinda day…again…step off.

Protein 154….so that is about a gram per LBM so I am ok there! PHEW thanks GNC for the shit ass flavs, they do in a pinch!

Ok so my sorta workout Sept 10th 2007

Body Rows (fat man pull ups) 5×5

Just messing around here and trying to warm up the bod….my intent was to do back and chest but I just did this for back….I need to make a plan for tonight to do back….if I keep training like this I will end up a body builder and have to do bicep curls by the thousands…I will keep a close eye on it.

Incline Dumbbell Press 5×5

WOOOHOO!!!! I did those 3 at 55 pretty well..I could have tried for 4 but my left arm kept trying to make it a fly not a press….so I was worried about the shoulder, of course. Then I just finished with the 45’s to really let my pecs know i want to lift with the 55’s next week.

Pec Deck 3×10

all on 75 pounds. This was also to reiterate that I meant it…..my triceps were the most tired from my finisher incline so I wanted to just hit the pecs a little more with the pec deck.

Tricep kickers

JUST KIDDING….

Ok so short workout, took all of what, 20 minutes but I just needed to move SOMETHING heavy and was afraid I might start randomly pushing people….

So, tonight I will do back schtuff

GLOBAL CHEAT DAY!!

No it is not a free sex day (some of you will still have to pay) this is about FOOD!

Here is a copy of the rules from the forum I and a few others here participate on. I also cross referenced it on my own forum.

In protest against “clean eating” everywhere,  I would like to declare Saturday “Global Cheat Day“.

How much notice do we need for this folks - is everybody okay doing one day off plan of eating whatever the **** we want on Saturday?

I mean it. Donuts, fat with carb, anything for one day. We all need to know that nobody will die if they eat off plan for ONE DAY.

Food porn will be mandatory.

Let’s do it.

We’ll have prizes for the most water weight held, the most calories consumed (particularly helpful for the young lads who are bulking, come on lads, show us how it’s REALLY done!), the longest it takes to get back down to pre-feast weight, and the shortest.

The rules:

*You are to eat whenever you want to - either from hunger or desire, until you feel like you’re done.
*Then you can eat more later. Or not.
*You are not allowed to feel guilty.
*You have to be present when you eat - enjoy every mouthful, the feeling of it, the taste of it.

Notes:
*If you think this might make you feel sick, just do desserts after meals. Or eat broccoli first to keep it moving - a trick I’ve learned helps me recover from these little indiscretions.
*And go for a walk after carby stuff - it helps the GLUT get it into your muscle cells so you don’t feel sick (thanks Trisk).
*Have a “back to normal plan” if you feel you need one.
*Train that day if you like - enjoy the rocket-fueled workout!

I’ve already started. My last relaxed day will be Saturday. Sunday I will get back into fat and protein and veggie land. I have a plan.

Any other rules, let’s have ‘em. I want this to be done properly.

Did I say count calories?

Wow, ok so no calorie counting yet but back to "clean" eats. I went to work last night and did aiight. Still not cleared to workout so I wantonly gazed at the iron plates cluttered around work.  I thought about doing upper body but I am pretty sure that would not be good to do yet…so…I will wait it out. The only comfort I have is knowing this entire break from lifting, dieting and from stimulants will give me BANGIN’ results when I turn on all the switches next week.

Oh and while doing my general anesthesia research I  am comforted in knowing my entire CNS was resting while under.

My adrenals right now must be saying…

"wtf,where’d Moe go?"

err..that is if adrenals talk….I know mine can scream…..

Ok still alive

I am still alive and I ate candy corn to prove it….

I believe on Monday I will  start counting the calories I am eating, I am starting to get an appetite back and some energy.
