Ok so I load up my warm up as 135. The guy with the large arms and small legs doing cable bicep curls starts to watch me and raises one eye brow as I load a plate a side. I refrain from telling him "Sit down, Son this is just the warm up" I mean for all i know he has an injury and can ONLY do bicep curls. When I pull them up easily he returns to his 15th set of curls. By the time I got to 255 he walked by and gave me the chin nod "Whassup" letting me know I have reached acceptance amongst the bicep curl community of which he is the Alpha bicep curler. He left before I did my 275 "SCREW YOUR DAMN BICEP CURL TRIBE" set….

Ok so I asked Bob Stranger to hand me the 50 LB DB’s to do my 3rd set. He was helpful but cold…I did not want to cuddle or talk hair so I was ok with that…plus he was bald….So, I did my work. As I was finished with my 3rd set (previously mentioned weight of 50 but in case you missed it let me remind you) I noticed ANOTHER skinny guy doing bicep curls…he watched me set down my 50 pounds and then he wiped his forehead with his shirt to display all his abs…swear I saw 8….but he was skinny so wtf? I also noted he was not sweaty…so in an attempt to maintain his masculine bicep curling status amongst my incline press he had to do a manly display…is this like peeing on something? If it is I would like to personally thank him for not peeing on the DB’s. Anyway, i felt pretty good doing 2 sets of the 50’s. My son was my lifting partner and he let me kinda sit at that sticky point a little too long on the 4th rep of the 4th set (OMEN!?!?) so I had to go to the 45’s for the final set….maybe if I do more bicep curls I will be able to do more weight next week……

Nothing exciting can be said for the peck deck aside from you can sit and watch all of your muscles move. I got a little carried away staring at a new vein and some striations…ok wel maybe that was ok but I did make a gorilla noise as well….by then the bicep curling had ceased and I was alone in that moment….my son laughed at me……
It was such a beautiful day….oh and I got my hair cut and colored *blushes like a little girl*
