Keep on rollin

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

Ok body fat continues down. Eats are dead on when I measure…LMAO what the hell does that even mean? Some days I am not measuring my eats and it is pissing me off. I need to sit down and pack up a few days worth of meals again. I keep grabbing the cottage cheese from the fridge and eating a few spoonfuls at each meal but I am not sure if it is 4 ounces or 6 ounces. The difference is about 200 cals per meal, so see what I am saying? So, today back to the market to buy more food and then measure it all up. I have not stalled in loss so now is the time to ensure I continue to shed the fat layers!

I did my first back to back classes at work the other night. Thankfully my lift heavy class was before the damn cardio bike class (not spin class!!) However after a full body weight routine and a cliff bar I was dead tired 30 minutes into the bike class. I think there is too much fat and fiber in the cliff bar to really benefit the bike class. I will do a gatorade/protein mix for the class next week.

I was planning to do the fat loss III from NROL till I went to the conference in May but I don’t have the ability to focus that hard on the workouts at work. So, I will do my normal weight classes, lift heavy on off days from classes and do a fat loss III workout on Saturdays. So new plan is:

Monday=Heavy Upper body

Tuesday= Full body endurance weight/ 1 hour bike (WHAT THE HELL!!!)

Wed= Raquetball/Heavy lower body

Thursday= Should be a rest but maybe something fun

Friday= Circuit weights ( like fat loss II actually)

Saturday= Fat Loss III

Sunday= R E S T

Eats are 2000-2200 on active days and 1600 on the rest day

Oh and weight has stopped going down on the scale BUT my hips have gone down 2 inches….waist 1 inch…..I know the back is leaner but I can’t measure that and there is no way I will get a sub scapular pinch there.  I have no starting pinch to compare and I don’t need my ego deflated by my fat back!

I may do a new pic soon to compare to see if I look any leaner.

Oh and some guy at work called me buff…..*batting eyelashes*

Ok so as for me, I am really finding I like training in a boot camp or over all fitness approach. I am not lifting too heavy at all and I am doing more fast paced weight routines with body weight etc. Plyometrics and the like. I see people deadlifting 200 pounds and I am envious but with work and scheduled classes I have to teach at work etc lifting for strength is not something I even have the time to dedicate to. (does that read right?)

Studying for the ACSM has to take a front seat right now along with the book. I need to bang out some final details for the book then we are off to the printers.

The only thing I have full control over right now is my eats, which is a great success for me. I am down 3 pounds each week, which is fast and I am ok if it slows to 2 pounds a week. I see more delts and more obliques and my legs are in a lot better shape.

So, that is my log journal update thingy!

Moving right along in time

Friday, April 6th, 2007

Ok so this week I am down some more on the scale and the omron hand held as well.

I can feel more definition in my arms and can see it in my back.  I have a hard time leaning the back out so this is exciting for me!

I am doing really well with weighing the foods out and I always do well working out. I have a bitch of a cold this week though so I am not sure how well circuit class will go tonight. I have to lead some Officers in a workout before class, too. I hope I don’t pass out because I can’t inhale fast enough LOL

So, I know this is boring but things are moving along well in Moe-ville. I am looking forward to seeing how much leaner I am in 4 more weeks of this plan!
