Wooohoo!!

Ok down 3 pounds since last week! I am liking how this is looking and I should be at my goal at or before May 30th!

I love it when things roll along nicely! I have decided contrary to my meso type build I prefer higher reps (10-15) over harder and heavier loads. I like to keep rest sessions short and the heart rate up. I don’t get that same rush doing heavier loads or doing cardio.

Favorite body part right now is my pectoral tie in with the collar bone. Fav to workout tho is glutes, quads and hammies.

Looking forward to shorts and tank top season!

Ok good “start”

Well, I am staying on plan really well. I am dipping lower in cals a bit here and there when I can’t get the workouts in. With my dad in the hospital this week it put a bit of a wrench in it all…last night I had to train 2 people since I was not able to train them Mon and Tues.

just an added note…I hate when the scale does not move.

Well since starting the journal here at bb.com I have found even more reason to stay the course. My father, who is about 180 pounds over weight, had to have an emergency quadruple bypass.

I felt pretty angry looking at him all hooked up to machines, chest drains and unconscious. It was all preventable.  It is not like he is suffering from a disease with no known cure.

So, with this thought in mind I will move more and eat better always. I don’t want my children crying around my bedside when I am only 68 years old.  I want to live as long and as full as I can.

I am a mother of 5 and happily married to my best friend. ( not a direct copy/paste thought but had to get that out of the way before I went on) I work at a US Navy gym as a fitness trainer. Blah blah blah…..

Anyway, I am here to hold myself even more accountable to my newest desire to really lean my body out more. I lost 80 pounds in the last 2 yrs and have also gone on one long ass bulk session which really did add a lot more muscle. (no more white girl/flat ass syndrome!) Now with Memorial day not that far away I am buckled down and REALLY working on losing 10 pounds of fat.

10 pounds sounds like nothing and almost feels daunting at the same time…….

Anyway, here are my eats and workout plans:

180 grams CHO

44 grams FAT

Non-Active Days

270 grams PR

100 grams CHO

60 grams FAT

=2020

Monday

Cardio Bike Class

Heavy Weight/Low Rep

Tuesday

Moderate weight/higher reps

20 minute bike

Wednesday

Racquetball

(lighter eating day)

Thursday

Heavy weight/low rep

Friday

Moderate weight/higher reps

20 minutes bike

Saturday

Rest
