VACATION
Yes!!!! Sooo overdue. I’m going home just for fun. Last week was…hard. Work, which is already busy, was crazy. I worked through lunches, after hours and went in last night for a minute to get all ends neatly tied (don’t want to leave anyone with a mess when they are already so swamped). I only got 3 official workouts in. But it’s over and I’m looking forward to this vacation. My girlfriend is getting married and I’m ready for some relaxing fun afterward (busy helping before). My sister has checked out the gym for me and we have our schedule set. So except for the days of traveling (tomorrow and the 2nd) I shouldn’t miss a day.
Also, I had my first Zumba class today. I’m not really one for aerobic classes, but a friend kind of roped me into it. It was so much fun and I could actually feel it in my abs and calves. I was wandering if I was doing something wrong to feel it in my calves, but the instructor said no, we’re on our toes/balls of feet a lot so….I thought I had rhythm (and I DO…but I guess it’s slow rhythm..lol) but I need a little more to keep up with these classes. Well, I’ll definitely go back. Maybe twice a week. Gotta try it if you haven’t.
