Glad you had a "fair" day
Dave, we are the same age but I am female and only about 150lbs, yet I find myself drawn to your Bodyspace. I think that is because I recognize that we both look at things in the same manner. In recent years I have worked hard to train my brain, the result being that while I have the ocasional setback, I view my appearance a lot differently now, treat myself more respectfully, am more happy with myself. Forgive me for being blunt, but there is more to getting in shape than "decreasing calories and increasing activity" . If it were that easy, millions of ppl would not be obese. You need to look at the mental aspect , too, or you will never succeed or be happy with your appearance, no matter how low the number on the bathroom scale goes. Why on earth do you call yourself "a fat, lazy bastard"? Yes, your bodyfat composition is off and yes, you are tired, but why are you saying such s*#t about yourself? It makes me want to cry because I bet you do it all the time. Seriously, would you say such hurtful things to your family or friends? Your perception IS your reality…try telling yourself good things about yourself and don’t say one more nasty thing. I am sure you are loved by many people, and certainly being alive is a blessing — why waste one more minute being hard on yourself and go ahead and start fresh on the interior just like you have vowed to start fresh with your exercise and nutrition? Peace.
