A Weak Minded Idiot
Yep, that is me. I have fallen back into my old ways when the stress of work and family grew and the competition was over. Quite frankly I am afraid to get on the scale because of how far I have regressed. Each day I begin to set things right and by the time I drag my sorry ass through the door at night I find some, any excuse to eat crap and slug it on the couch. It has got to stop. I can’t go on this way.
I said weak minded and I mean weak minded. There is nothing left to say. I know what to do and I have done it, but my mind does not stay with it. Call it a lack of discipline if you want, but it is all the same. So how do you strengthen your mind or build your discipline? As Nike says, just do it. Fall down, get back up. Fall down again, get back up again. Push to not fall down for a longer period of time each time.
Scale weight and negative progress pictures to follow.

Dude, don’t get too down on yourself. Yeah, you screwed up. I’ve been there. Shit, we have all been there at one time or another. You just have to kick yourself in the ass and get back up and start over. It sucks. Its hard, but if life was easy, we’d all look like Jay Cutler. I’m sure you will get back to it.

I just hate covering ground that I have already taken. What a waste of time and effort LOL.

Sh!t happens fella! I don’t think there’s many people that NEVER fall off the wagon!
Hell if it was that easy to be in shape everyone would be doing it! You just need to get over it, finish the pity party and get on with what you need to be doing!
Five steps forward, three back… So long as you manage the next five forward you’ll win out in the end! Remember this aint no sprint it’s a marathon!

I agree with everything that these gentleman have said
You asked : "So how do you strengthen your mind or build your discipline? "
The thing that helps me the most, since my hubby and son want something different than what I can eat- I cook all of my meals on Sunday, seperate them in contatiners and freeze them- that way all I have to do is heat them up while I fix their dinner- I have no excuses then-and I have a pic of what I look like now and how I want to look (a pic of Jamie Eason) on the fridge- that keeps me motivated to keep going!
Hope that helps, and you are doing great, just keep pushing forward!!!

what the mind can conceive the body can achieve. i have lost more than 80lbs three different times. i am not slipping again. it takes years to build and change the body.it takes one second to change the mind. your mind is not weak the second you decide that it is not.
