Today is my lovely wife’s birthday and mine will follow in 4 days. My wife has stood by me despite my many failings. She has given me two wonderful children. She has given me my life.
We have been married for 24 years. She was 18 and I was 20. The time has passed by in a blink of an eye. It is a cliche’, but it is so true. Who would I be without her I will never know. Who I am with her is more than I ever would be alone.
With all that I try to improve, my weight, my career, my spirituality, I never need to improve my wife nor my love for her.

Today I gained two pounds after a good week of exercise and eating clean. Not a good day.<input type="hidden" id="gwProxy" /><input type="hidden" id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" />

I got plenty of sleep, good sleep, but I am so very tired. This has been going on for the past 3 months now. The Doc said my blood work came back fine and could not give a medical reason for my fatigue (I was there for a diabetes checkup). So I guess this is all in my head, but it feels like it is more than that.
Anyway, I will fight through the fatigue. I took most of yesterday off and today is set to be another big day of exercise. I am still sore from the last set I did on Monday.
If I don’t drop weight this week I will be more than disappointed. I have done everything right and have been extra careful with the caloric intake.

150 squats
25 bench pushups
60 calf raises
3 types of leg swings at 50 per side.

I was duly chastised in a comment to one of my blog posts for my attitude. It was deserved and I thank the person for slapping me around so that I could come to my senses.
The good news is that I did not gain weight last week and am still 20 lbs below my high weight. The bad news is that I did not lose any weight after a week of consistant exercise and clean eating.
So where do I go from here? I will tighten my caloric intake. Apperantly I was not eating as clean as I thought I was. So we will write everything down that goes in my mouth. I will also put my walnuts in 1 oz portions. Eating a ton of nuts may well have been my problem last week.
Exercise will intensify this week. I will up my body-weight squats to 60 a day and up my walking speed from 2.5 mph to 2.7 mph. I will also add weight training 3 x a week. This will probably consist of the routine coach Mike developed for me last year, but I really do not like the band workout that much.
Wish me luck and pray for me. I must beat this weight issue.

I thought I had my eating under control and my exercise rolling at a steady pace. In the end I lost no weight in a week. I am a little more than down right now.
