Well its been a while since I last wrote to my blog so here goes with an update.
I’ve been getting stronger I’ve noticed that. Got good shape and strength but weight is yet to start shifting. As soon as I get some money am going to buy a few protein shakes and then start packing on the bulk! Just now I’m eating loads of pasta, chicken, eggs, nuts, and milk. I get days where I am forcing myself to choke down the stuff but on the whole it’s not too bad a diet.
I just started using the 5×5 approach to my workouts. I especially like using iton the bench press. Instead of benching 110lbs like this: Set 1: (8), Set 2: (4), Set 3: (4), Set 4: (3) total reps: 19 , I now bench it 5×5: total reps 25 in fact on the last 2 sets i did 6 reps instead of 5! So bench press is looking good!
This week (Week 6) has been hellish though. For the past 4 days I have been really sore in different places coz I’ve been REALLY killing the muscles! A little bit of over-training too so am gonna ease off next week and make sure I give my body time to recover. Motivation levels have dipped once or twice too.
I’m thinking about entering MH Survival (google that if you don’t know what it is!) and maybe get sponsorships too.
Keep working hard everyone, catch you later, JoshyBoy

Well this is me in week two now. It’s been 5 days since my last workout. Eeek! Well at least I know my body is fully recovered and ready to go.
So… chest and triceps today. And I must say it went really well. I pushed myself really hard and did more sets, reps, and did a higher volume total than my last chest and triceps workout 8 days ago, so I’m quite pleased with that. I was in and out of the gym in an hour and a half right back home to get some good nutrition. I had scrambled eggs (minus a few yolks), plenty of nuts (sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, pecans, and one other kind, I cant remember), milk, a little vegeable soup and a slice of wholemeal granary bread. Must remember to up my protein intake though.
I must try and get to the gym more regularly and not leave so long between going.
Oh and I have to remember to find out my BF%
Anyways… Liverpool v Chelsea tonight… as an Arsenal fan I’m going to enjoy this game…

Well, it’s been a week since I joined bodybuilding.com and I’m 2 days into my new workout regime and I’ve noticed a few interesting things.
First thing is that thanks to bodybuilding.com I appear to have lifted 8 tonnes in the past 2 days! Sounds impressive and is an encouragement to me and thanks to all the stats and stuff, haha, I can keep a really close eye on what I am doing. Love this website!
Second thing is that because I havent been training in three weeks and really thrashed my muscles for the past two days it feels a bit like I’ve been hit by a bus… maybe an 8-tonne bus?!?
Third thing is that after training my first bodypart, for example chest and triceps, I’ve killed my chest and now start to work the triceps and I noticed that the triceps have already kind of been used up and it takes a lot of effort to work them. Yesterday, I REALLY gave it "gung-ho" on my back and by doing this quite knackered my biceps. So tommorrow its Shoulders, Biceps, and Abdominals. Any comments?
Last thing is that there are a lot of people out there who should start speaking more!
Well, thats all for now. Take it easy guys (and girls) and remember…
Work Hard. Play Harder. Train the Hardest.
