Suprise change of events Program in Question

On Saturday morning around 11am i planned to go to the gym as usual for a martial arts program put together by myself and another co-worker dedicated to provide self defense and physical fitness as well as law enforcement refresher training to the public.  I arrived along with other members only to find out that the gym has been sold and there would not be a martial arts session for today. No warning no notice just "sold and close". Now our program Full spectrum fitness is in question. Our contracts were moved to lifestyles family fitness but a successful program put together and established for two years and strongly promoted is now in question. All that we have contributed to fit 24 in Raleigh making it an official Gracie Garage only one in Raleigh and three in the state of North Carolina i now a memory. Now even more my confidence in the gyms is questionable i will now devote my time to train at home. I wont have access to a hack squat or a dip machine or reverse squat machine but i have enough to work with being able to squat, shoulder press, lat pull, chest work outs w/ dumbbells ranging from 15,20,35,45,65,85,95 pds. Now although lifestyles has my contract a gym i know that wont fold unless i cant pay my mortgage will be in business any time and with whatever hours that i want. So on that note the weight training will not stop.

I have been off the weights for about a week and a half now just resting due to working so much physically and burned out mentally. Today i started off slow but the work out was intense and gave me a good sweat. I feel great i thought that i would be sluggish and non motivated but that was not the case. So i am ready and after each set i feel and appear that a transformation in some areas is happening. Now the focus must be discipline the mind and body. today went as follows:

6-8 sets of leg extentions heavy

2 warm up incline sets of chest (dumbbells 45pds) 25 reps

5-6 sets of inclined dumbbell press 65pds 15 reps superset with 185pd standing calf raises with free weights and straight bar.

an additonal 3 sets again two 65 pd and one 95 pd set of inclines and 6 set of slow squats

5pm- Cardio walk and side lateral raises and front presses 4 sets.

I have been having complications with my abdominals for a while ignoring the pain and pressing on through. I went to a physical therapist for the problem and found out that i have mutiple muscle spasams. I now have to do therapy doing different exercises for the AB region other that crunches or sit-ups. The pain was so intense that i was at one point having problems breathing because my abs locked up on me so bad. So hopefully with the therapy i will be fine if not i will not allow this to stop me and what i need to achieve.

I went to a physical therapist for the problem and found out that i have mutiple muscle spasams. I now have to do therapy doing different exercises for the AB region other that crunches or sit-ups. The pain was so intense that i was at one point having problems breathing because my abs locked up on me so bad. So hopefully with the therapy i will be fine if not i will not allow this to stop me and what i need to achieve.

Getting back on Track

I am writing my post on getting back on track i have been eating i know you have to eat to grow but i just did not feel right and feel like i have plateau in my training. Fro me this is not good. I want to be able to increase my efforts and see the results that i need with out being on a bland scale. So now i will continue to mix up my Cardio doubling it up and training one to two body parts for thrity to 40 minutes supersets and perform Cardio:

Mock example:

Cardio tread mill inclined 12-15 25 minutes tricep/Biceps 25 minute Cardio Bike

Cardio eliptical 25 minutes Chest  25 minutes Tread mIll -Back Upper and Lower

Jump Rope -15 Minutes with three interval laps around the track- Shoulder Exercise

Eliptical 25 minutes Shoulder/Back.

This is what i have to do to get back on track and confuse the body and hopefully burn unwanted fat and scuplt the body more.

 

Cardio Progress Day One

I had shared that at the mininum i would be doing 45-50 min and 30 miniutes of one body part. I exceeded my expectations for the first day of Cardio by doing 1hr and 4 minutes and 20 minutes of inclined push ups and claves. The tread mill i started the first five to eight minutes inclined on a level 8 and did the majority @ 13-15 max incline. It is possible to remain focused and hang in there on your cardio when your mind and body and others tell you no or just to stop.
