Not just a movie but a road block

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

Wow… It is amazing today because I have beaten my evil roadblock. I have let my weight spiral out of control to the point that I weighed a whopping 320lb. It was so depressing to have to really weigh that much. I have been battling that weight for quite some while until recently.

I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease and that changed everything.

When your health is at risk because of your weight, it gives you a new motivation to get healthy. So I told myself that I am going to loose three pounds a week until I weigh 240lb. I know that is not my perfect weight, but that is my goal for now. I am just proud that I weigh under 300lb and am still burning more fat away.

Cream Puffs, Koolaid, Pull Ups Oh My……

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Wow… It is very hard to lose weight when your surrounded by cheaters and bad eaters huh. If you really start hammering down on what you eat by looking at the back of food labels. It really depresses you. Especially if you go to your favorite restaurants and research the amount of calories and carbohydrates each meal has. You will probably decided never to eat there ever again. But it is hard, when you live in a society that pushes life to its max speed.

Each day I use to split up my lunches with going to Panda Express or the local Deli. I decided to go online and look up the nutrients facts on the food I would buy there and was amazed on how much calories and carbohydrates were in each food. It was amazing on how much was in there, not to mention how much fat and sodium each food had in it just threw me into a OMG Coma… lol…

I am seeing a big difference in the way I feel and look by doing a few simple things to the start of my new diet and I hope many others will try what i have done.

  1. I have stopped with soda completely, and will not touch the stuff unless it is my once a month treat or it is a diet drink with no carbs/sugar/calories. By doing so I feel so much better not being dependent of the caffein in the drinks and it allows me to drink more water during the day. Basically, when I go to a restaurant I only order a water.
  2. Half the size it… Yep, you have heard me correctly. Half the size it… That is a new term that I was told to help with over eating and I

Spin The Weight Away

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

Ok, I have found the way to peel weight off like peeling a banana.

I have been working very hard the past few weeks, and I have had my ups and downs with my weight loss. But I am not going to let that get me down, because I am super motivated to get it all off.

I joined a spin class at golds gym, and it was amazing/hardcore. I burnt off 600 calories in one class…

Not many people that I have talk to have gave me a few reasons why they didnt want to join a spin class and I will give you a few with some great answers on my behalf.

1. You should join the spin class with me…

  • I cant, I dont have the time for it… (reply = They have classes all through out the day and on weekends)
  • I dont want to commit to it…  (reply = no commitment, just show up and sign in if there is a class)
  • I cant ride a bike… (reply = the bike will not move, so you cant fall over)
  • I am to fat to do that… (reply = dude… your at a gym, plus that should motivate you to do it)

Now, I am going to say that this is not for everyone,

Breaking My Road Blocks

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Wow, it seems that when we gather up all the things in our life and reflect on them we seem to block out a few small things. We settle for our set path of repitition and try so hard to speed up everything we do…

Last week, If I were to tell you about my week I would have told you it was terrible. I was working a bunch of hours at my office and eating terrible foods.

Everything was fast and easy, that way I could concentrate on the important priorities I had set for myself at the time. Even when I got home, the meals were something that could be thrown in the microwave and eat super quick, that way I could get to bed.

And to top it all of… The gym, ha… There was no time for the gym at all for about a month, due to the intense schedule I was trying to up keep…

So here are my steps for breaking such road blocks, and keeping your self on tact with your Diet/Program.

Breaking the Road Blocks

  1. I have started waking up at 4:30a.m. and going to the gym to work out before I have to go to work. Though this means that I have to wake up very early, and crash early the night before. It is my way of keeping the gym in my daily schedule.
  2. Working out at work… Oh yeah, if you check out my work out schedule in on my bodyspace, I have a set list of exercises I do while I am at work on my lunch break. I even on my breaks will take a lap around the building to get a good amount of blood pumping.
  3. Food is very important, because I have let my self go the past few month and have adapted some terrible eating habits. And I will say that I have had some help with it too… But I picked up a book called “The Fat Smash Diet”. It is the same diet that celebrity fit club follows, so I plan on giving it a try. Buy the book… :D

Over all… Remeber that no mater how busy you may get, take good care of your self. That is a very important thing, because you only have one body. What you do with it is your own personal business, but as far as i am concerned…

I want to be a hottie…

Thanks and I will chat with ya later,

Josh

What is a Gym?

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

Man, I am really working to loose weight in a healthy manner but I am having trouble with it. Because of work and everything that is going on in my life, I simply haven’t the time for the gym any more… What I need is a work out partner… Some one to help motivate me to go, not complain about going to the gym… If you live in Waco, Texas and go to Gold’s Gym… Holla at me…

Later and Much Love,

Josh

It is time to step it up…

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Well, I have been working my butt off for the past 3 months and I am seeing no weight loss. It is kind of depressing in a way but not really. I have dropped a few inches in my face and my chest area but no where else. I feel that I need to amp up my workouts, and see if I can acheive the results that i am wanting. If anyone has cool advice, give me a holla…

I am depressed, but motivated

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Tonight, my girlfriend and I went shopping for new pants. I needed to get some new jeans, so I went to try some on… Well, a size 40×30 was to small and out of the stores we went to no one had a size 42×30… Though they did have a size 60×30, wow that is a big size. But that has motivated me to work harder… I want to be able to by pants any where. Walmart is so evil because the only size they sell is 36 waist down… :(   Screw walmart… Well, later everyone…
