Well I have some frickin downtime to let everyone know what happened in NYC. To start, I was supposed to be in NYC all this week and next week, but those plans changed last weekend. I was in South Carolina on vacation when my agent called me and wanted to know if I could make it to NYC for a casting for Perry Ellis. To make it to NYC that Monday I would of had to slept in the airport when my flight from S.C. came in @ midnight and grabbed the earliest flight out Monday. So I did that. My agent said he would take care of me since it was all on such short notice. I land at Laguardia and I had a big black Lincoln Town car waiting for me to run me into Jersey City (where my agent lives) so I could clean up and get back into Manhattan to go to my appointments. I went to the Perry Ellis casting, which went good. (I wont know until this week if they are going to use me in Fashion Week, but they called my agent afterwards and was asking?’s about my clothing sizes and all that), then I went to Men’s Health which was the highlight so far for me in this whole modeling thing. I havent even been at it for a year and I get to go meet with my personal favorite magazine. The editor said I looked "amazing" and had a "marketable and handsome face". He said I am "cover material" for their magazine and would love to do some work with me later this year. I was stoked! The next day I met with Cosmo magazine and apparently they want to shoot me for a upcoming edition. The shooting I believe takes place next week. I also had a two day test shoot with a photographer named Karl Simone. (He has shot Bill Clinton, Paula Abdul, and some other famous folks) The photos look off the chain! I will get them tomorrow in email so I will post them. Some are inside but a few are outside on roof tops in Manhattan. These were just to get a different look in my portfolio. My agent is really trying to get me to go out there for a few months cuz he said he knows BIG things will happen for me cuz I have gotten a lot of good feedback in the short time I have been "on the scene." So more decisions need to be made and all that. But so far so good. I appreciate the support from everyone…This is kind of surreal to me, but I am riding this thing till the wheels fall off!
