A Christian and their purpose…

As a Christian man I am thinking the Lord is talkign to me more and more these days of my purpose. Losing my brother to a lung disease and now recently finding out my dad has lung cancer has been issues in my life that have made me stronger. I think I was put on this Earth to spread the message of taking care of ones body. Its not about looking like a fitness model, or a bodybuilder, its just about being healthy. In today’s times we over look that. I am here to help but also take care of my own too. I will do what I can to spread this message. And if I cant inspire each and everyone of you through talking to you one on one, I will do it through my life and photos, showing you that I dont take any of this for granted….I feel blessed with the opportunities the Lord has put before me, and I want to share that with others and hopefully spark something in them to make that change in their life. God Bless!

Too true. God wants us to care for the temple he loaned to us. Gotta keep it healthy and fit, not abuse and take it for granted. Helping other get there is so rewarding in itself. I, myself, feel that is what I am here for. Rock on man!

I went to church over the weekend (yeah, a shocker to me as well). Anyway, that was the theme. Receiving a gift and using it to give back. I felt his message was directed towards me.

Josh, I don’t know you personally. However, I do you know that you have a gift. You inspire many on this site to do something with their bodies. Keep it 100!

Reading your blog entry has me thinking about my situation. I almost lost my father in Feb. but he is still here. The man is 91 and any time I have with him is truly a gift. You see, God sent us a great doctor and he saved him. I hope you are given the same.

And thank you for the response.

Well said. Our lives as Christians are to be lived for others…and if you can’t see them face to face then I suppose what you’re doing here is the next best thing. I also admire your willingness to use your suffering as an opportunity to tell others about good health practices…we all suffer in life, some more than others, but when we use it to minister to other people then God can get the glory.

  14. John Says:

You don’t even talk to people who are at your gym.
Just an observation. Not judging. You seem nice.

    Hey Josh!
What you are doing is really great. Most people don’t have this power to fight on after they lose a friend and a brother and now his father is sick but no mater what I know you will keep on going because you always do. Since I’m a Christian also I will pray for your father to and hope he will be alright. God always test strong people so whatever happens we, your fans, are at your side. God bless your family!

  17. jumper11 Says:
