My full time job apart from modeling is a very physical one. First off, I live in Michigan…where ti is very cold right now…and I unload semi trucks by hand and with some lift equipment….So whatever the temp is outside, it is around that in the warehouse. Your muscles do not function that well in 10 degree weather. I work 10 hour shifts with 2 20 minute paid breaks…no hour lunches or anything…just straight 10 hours…on top of that I lift weights before i go into work for about 2 hours(thats including running)….Over the weekend I slept on my living room couch funny which put a kink in my neck and I have been having some issues with pinched nerves in my upper back(nothing new, I get them all the time)….But also I have had some nerve issues in my left arm which has caused my left arm, hand, and sometimes leg to fall asleep….Its nothing serious….I just need to chill on my body. I took the last day and a half off from work and havent lifted since tuesday. Rest is key….And I am making sure I dont injure myself to where I cant do anything for a long time..Thanks for the concerns:-)

My pc is P.O.S so I have to do this from my trusty PDA….I love this thing cuz I can stay in contact anywhere(sounds like I am doing a commercial)….
Ok, here are some training tips for people wanting to gain some mass, or for people wanting to cut up and burn some killer calories during your workout. For me when I was bulking, I stuck to working the major muslces 4 times a week. I worked my chest one day, back another, shoulders another, and legs another….I used heavy weight, but weight where I could still do 6-8 clean reps…..My workouts were short and intense…Usually lasting no longer than an hour. I cant over emphasize how important diet is people….All the training and supplements will get you so far, DIET IS CRUCIAL! Cardio can be done but very low intensity, like a fast walk or a short jog. You want to pack on weight and hold them calories…CLEAN CALORIES. I will post some exercise to do with this bulking plan.
Now for you folks wanting to cut up a bit. Intensity is key still, but you want to get that heart rate up while you are lifting. SUPERSETS!!! I love them and swear by them. All this is working two muscle groups in the same day, but inner-weaving them together. You jump on the bench and knock out a set of press’s….when you finish do you rest??? NO…you go grab some db’s and knock a set of alternating db curls! You go through this maybe giving yourself a 30 second break after a circuit (completion of a set of both exercises)….but keep rocking them out! I lift for about 1 1/2 hours and burn roughly 800-1000 calories from lifting alone! I still run 2 miles when i am done and my diet is on point….THATS HOW YOU GET THEM ABS AND VEINS FOLKS!!! I only take whey protein and NO2 when trying to get ripped….no miracle supplement..except water! I will post some workout later on..hope this help….KEEP RIDING THIS BITCH TILL THE WHEELS FALL OFF!

I get so many ?’s about gaining weight and I guess I am kind of dumb for not posting a blog dedicated to gaining mass since I wouldnt even be where I am at today if I didnt gain weight cuz I was 148-150lbs at 5′11…So here is some tips for people who want to bulk up…
Carbs, Calories, Protein, Fat…..Four parts of the diet that if shuffled around and "manipulated" right, will get you packing on some good, lean weight. First off, all you skinny folks need to understand like I did, fat will be gained and you will lose some of your current leaness, but who cares right? You want 18 inch arms, 45 inch chest, and traps like mountains right?! I loved it being 210lbs..I had power and looked powerful..DOnt get me wrong, the cuts are nice and all that, but looking like you can tear apart a car with your bare hands is cool (people like Pitbull know what thats abou, right Pitbull?….Hes a beast!)
Ok, Your first focus will be calories….You wont gain weight unless your body gets enough calories. All nutritional facts on the back of foods are based around a 2000 calorie a day diet. Thats the "basic" calorie consumption. Not for us skinny guys who have metabolisms like frickin bullets! WE NEED TO EAT! But eat clean….I always say no matter how small you are, try to consume atleast 2800-3000 calories a day…It might not happen, but TRY. Its smart to go through a regular day and count how many calories you eat now…You might be suprised how much you are NOT eating! I was. You need to eat 5-6 times a day to keep your metabolism up….and drink lots of water. Creatine and Whey Protein are the supplements I used with great success. A daily multivitamin is crucial too. You are basically doing a complete overhaul on your body and the way it functions..You are "shocking" it and forcing it to grow! Protein is very important, cuz you want muscle, not just fat…Aim for 1 gram per goal weight…If you want to weigh 200lbs, shoot for 200 grams. Try your best to hit your mark. Carbs are pretty easy. Stay away from simple carbs and sugary stuff. Comlex carbs like oats, wheat, bread, pasta, fruits and veggies…those are great! Dairy products too if you can. Fat should be reasonably low, but not too low. You need fat for energy for your new growing body. I would say depending on your age, weight, and height, maybe around 70-100 grams of fat a day is descent. ALWAYS EAT IN THE MORNING. This was a biggie for me, I hated breakfast, but I wouldnt hit my calorie mark w/o it plus it gets your body ready for the day. GET A LOT OF SLEEP!! Your body needs to recover and grow. Your body actually grows when you are not lifting weights…its rebuilding the tissues….So diet and sleep is crucial so it has all the tools it needs to build a brick shit house! *wink* Drink water too…its good for sending all those good nutrients to your muscles..and thats what you want. I will post a blog about training here in a few. Hope this helps!

My diet now is formed around carb cycling. If you have seen my diet/training vid you have heard what that consists of. Low carbs during a 5 day week and the a 2 day loading phase. I take in around a carb per body lb during the 5 days and then i triple that roughly during the 2 loading days. My diet looks like this….
Breakfast:Oatmeal, banana, small glass of milk
Preworkout:Protein drink
During Workout:Protein Bar
Postworkout:can of tuna, rice cakes, cottage cheese
Lunch:3 strips of bacon (lean) piece of cheese rolled up in turkey
Snack:unsalted peanuts mixed with dried cranberries (very good!)
Dinner: chicken breast, brocolli lightly covered in olive oil, 5 egg whites, applesauce
Snack: protein drink…then its bed time! And always remember to drink LOTS of water!

You ever those days where you get up and you dont feel all that well, your tired, or just dont feel like working out? Those are the days you need to push yourself to go. Its those days that truly make a difference in hitting your goals. Some people love the gym, but even those people have their days where it feels kind of old and routine. I like to change my songs around on my mp3 player, buy a new shirt or something to workout in, just to make a little change in my routine. It helps! If you can look back on your journey to hitting your goals and say you never held anything back and gave it all, you have succeeded in more ways than you know. God Bless and keep up the great work people!

Ok so one day out of the week I can go lose on my diet but make sure I go that much harder in the gym. I usually dont go overboard, mostly just a cheat meal in regards to a day. I made tacos tonight….Holy fuzzle nutts it was the slam! What is the point of working so hard on a body, if you dont reward yourself every once in a while.

This site is a valuable tool for people who are trying to "get into shape." The reason I quote that phrase is because the shape you want to get into is all up to you. My purpose for being on this site is to still learn from people who could help me, but more importantly spread what knowledge I have to others. I know its hard, trust me…Dieting and all that is no fun….But this lifestyle is worth the sacrifices. You feel good in mind and body, and you approach every day with a little more determination, in whatever you do. Its actually a remarkable thing. Its nice to flirt and look at fine ass people who are in great shape, (trust me, the women on this site are so damn fine…makes me giggle like a little school boy) but we cant lose sight of what bodyspace is intended for, knowledge and motivation. I will try to return every pm and reply to every comment, and add every friend…cuz the more i am involved with people, the more I can learn and teach. Keep up the great work people, it is truly an honor to be in the top 6!
