It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog. Last week I was sick with the H1N1 and well it was not fun some good did come of it. I lost a couple of ponds and it was motivation enough to keep going. I am still not a 100% but went out and walked three miles last night and it felt so good. I hope I can stay motivated and reach my goal.

I have been getting up and going to the gym everyday at 5:30am with my workout partner. I find I really like going in the morning. I actually wake up and look forward to going at the time. Today when we arrived I seen and interesting sight. A lady was standing outside smoking a cig and then came in and was drinking coffee. Hmm I guess at least she is taking some steps in the right direction.

I have finally gotten re focused and time to undo the damage that I have let happen. I could list a million reasons why, but they are just reasons and no excuses would justify letting myself go. I will post new photos at some point.

I have had a good summer, but along with that good summer also came some weight from all the good times and not working on the diet as hard. While I am sad to see summer come to an end, I am happy that I will be getting into a healthier routine. I really need to drop this summer weight that I have put on and stay motivated to do it.

I have been off for a week now and my plan was to spend extra time working out this week, well I have been sick the entire time. I have gone to the gym and had a couple of good workouts, but not as many as I wanted. I know I shouldn’t complain, it just that between work, college, and family I do not get much time off. Hopefully today will bring a change.

Working at a school means come summer things change. I want to make sure that I get in a good routine that I can stay with for the summer. I am not sure what my summer work hours are going to be yet, but I do know that they are a little more flexible then when I am working at the school. I also have my college classes over the summer so it help when things are a little flexible. I have decided to try and set monthly goals to meet this summer rather then long term goals.

Not much new to report. Things are going good and I seem to have a pretty good handle on workouts and diet. Not that there isn’t always room for improvement, but it’s progress.

Last night I had one of the best workouts ever. I think there might have been a little frustration that added to the motivation, however I’ll take whatever it takes to have good work out like that.

If I could only get myself to do as well on my diet as I do about going to the gym I would be in great shape. It seems like I am having trouble staying consistent with my diet which is not making me real happy with myself. I don’t mean to sound like I am way out of control with it because I am not gaining I am just not losing either. Not that it is an excuse, but it does make it harder when you are the only one in the family who is trying to eat healthy. I have a mini goal of losing three pounds by Valentines Day that would put me at 110#. I know I can do this, I just have to stay positive and stay motivated.

Workouts have been going good, I even went this weekend both days with our temps being -24 and that not with windchill. I am ready for some warmer weather. I even bought a tanning package just for the warmth. Ok maybe for a little color as well, but I sure enjoyed the warmth. I wish I could say I have been as faithful on the diet as I have on workouts. I just have to make myself stay strong and not stray. Have a great Monday everyone.
