I ordered a sample of Lipo6 from bb.com. I’ve always been leery of fat burners due to my petite size. I figured they might be too much. I took it last week around 7am and actually felt fine all day. I headed to workout around 4pm. After strapping on my heart rate monitor I noticed my resting heart rate was about 20bpm (86) higher than normal (66). I did my scheduled Insanity Workout of Max Interval Plyo and noticed my heart rate was way up there in the 160s for most of the workout. I ususally stay in the low 150’s or high 140’s on this one.
By 8pm my resting heart rate was back to normal. Is this what to expect from a fat burner? Obviously with a raised heart rate I burned more calories not only during my workout but the rest of the day.
Have any of you had any issues with this product?

I volunteered at my church’s Fall Festival on Saturday. As usual, I was at the drink booth selling soft drinks, bottled water, hot chocolate, etc..I had stuck to the diet all week in preparation for a mini cheat meal - A footlong corn dog and a Dr. Pepper. During a lull I headed over to the food booth and got the corn dog put mustard on it and headed back to my booth.
At the first bite someone took my picture, "I can’t believe you are eating this! No one will belive it!"
I had my picture taken three more times while eating that corn dog and all with the similar comments. Food papparazzi. Go figure.

Did my Insanity Max Interval Plyo in the gym today. It is great to look in the mirrors and check your form plus you get to watch people give you weird looks along the lines of WTH is she doing?

Sometimes it’s the little things in life that get you through the day..
I love…
non-fat lattes
my cat Jonah
turtleneck sweaters
colored sharpie markers
post-it notes of any kind
fantasy football
intense workouts
mystery/suspense books
learning new things
a super crisp granny smith apple

Did Insanity Max Interval Circuit this morning and just feel great. The tiredness and less than stellar motivation are gone. Plus, I did the whole workout which I struggled with last week. Cutting down on the number of double workouts really helped.
Work is easing up a bit and the fitness class I co-teach ends tomorrow. It may have been the triple workouts on Tuesday and Thursday that were killing me.

Okay, I am the last person to give up but the past week’s workouts have been exceptionally hard. I had originally planned to finish up the second half of Insanity before starting another round of p90x. But at the time I felt really good and I had been doing both Insanity and P90X for five weeks. Now that I am at the Max level of Insanity I am ready to admit I may have bitten off more than I can chew…so a few modifications will need to be made on the P90X side of things. ( I’ve only done the first two weeks of a new round.) I will do the weight days (like today’s legs and back) but skip the other days in lieu of Insanity workouts. Instead of 12 workouts a week I will go down to nine. More doable considering the intensity of the second level on Insanity.
ps…although doing double workouts each day did mean I slept like the dead each night…

I’ve definitely decided that Max Cardio Conditioning is the hardest…especially at 7 am on a Monday morning. Even the second time through I had to take breaks unlike any other Insanity workout. At least it will make tonights Legs & Back seem easy.

Hard…very hard….very, very hard…max cardio conditioning…is by far the hardest Insanity workout I have done.

Today is usually my Insanity Day in the morning with Interval X in the afternoon for P90X. My Wednesday and Thursday workouts were interrupted in the morning so I decided to use today as a make up day. I didn’t feel I did my best on Tuesday so I repeated Max Interval Plyo this morning. I will do Max Cardio Conditioning this afternoon.
I’ve been a little tired this week and I know it is because I haven’t eaten enough. I tend to lose track of time when I am in ‘geek" mode in front of the computer and this week has been a non stop geek mode on top of teaching an evening fitness and toning class.
I am ready for the weekend and some R&R.

The last two days have in Insanity-less. Wednesday and Thursday morning were both thwarted by work related issues. I was about 15 minutes into Wednesday workout when I was called to fix a small database problem so I had to stop and head into work. Thursday I had planned on going in a little later (since I work late on Wednesdays now) but again I got called in early to fix a large format printer issue. I was able to get in my Chest and Back for p90x in the late afternoon plus teach the evening fitness class. Not sure if I am going to do a do-over week next week for Insanity. We will see what tomorrow and Saturday brings.
My plan is to take tomorrow off….lets see what the I.T. gods have in store for me.
