Are these one rep max calculations serious??
If they are serious, then I believe I am a beast. I have never tried squatting 540. The highest I ever went on a normal barbell squat was 440. But I put it in how many times I could rep out with 405 and it came out with that. I’m scared to try all that weight. Scared that it will CRUSH ME.. anyone have answers to how accurate the calculators are???

What’s the calculator your using, I’ll compare with my maxes. I don’t think there very accurate IMO. During powerlifting, some could rep a high max, but when attempting that max, it would "crush" them! Others who would be reping their max could sometimes max out even higher. I don’t think its 100% accurate but I think its something good to work with!

I used the one rep max calculator on bodyspace. Where you enter your lifting stats there is a calculator to use. Thanks for the quick answer.

Lifting heavy is a process, which means that you can reach your theoretical max but after a good process of lifting heavier and heavier every time, through a process.
In a way it is like running, in good theory I can run a marathon, I can run it right now, but have you heard about people that take almost six hours to finish one? LOL.
So if you want to reach your max, train and set a goal, don’t try to do it overnight or indeed you will need some help to free yourself after the first attempt
