My deployment is over and since I returned to the US, I have not been working out due to military thing. As a consequence, I lost a 4 lbs. I’m now 108. Man, being in the military sucks since mission makes it impossible to make consistant work outs. I hope civilian life will be better.

Since my unit is preparing to leave Iraq later on this month, we are moving to new living quarters with no gym on site. The closest one is 35 minutes away by bus. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep my weight training consistent though. If I just do regular calisthenics and run 3 times, I’ll lost my hard earn weight and inflate back to 107 or far worse back to 102 lbs. Ewww, that is going to hurt me. It’ll be only for 2 weeks and from then we fly back to US. After the return, I know I can restart my weight training from scratch again.

I’m getting sick of Army life, and because of the constant move I will never reach my goal. (Who knows, we may run even more when going back to Ft. Bragg, that will definitely kill my mass gaining goal). I’m glad I’m ETSing or terminating my service in Feb 10, 2008.
