Currently, I have been using Hydroxycuts Hardcore by muscleTech, but to be honest, I don’t think they are doing much for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on more effective thermogenics. I looked for Amphetalean as recommended but was unable to find it. I am considering Trying Lipo6X in February. Anyone used the Lipo6 products yet? What’s your take on them? Open to suggestions, Thanx

Most of the body building literature talks about a standard formula of 50% Carbs, 25% Protein, and 25% Fat, but that seems like it is more for the advanced bodybuilders, etc. I am simply trying to lose weight and maybe build a little muscle in the process to look good, feel good, and live healthier. I am in a pre-diabetic state so I need to watch my carb consumption anyway because of my blood sugar. Should I be consuming more protein and less carbs and fat? Hey guys, I need your help! Thanks
In addition, what are the best supplements for fat loss or ramping up my metabolism. I am currently using Hydroxycuts Hardcore, but are there better supplements?

Just finished week #1, and feel pretty good! Cardio 6 out of 7 days with ab workout, and mixed in circuit training and weight training. Diet has been pretty strict except for 1 cheat day in which my coworkers threw a going away party for me at work (had pizza, couple of sodas). The rest of the week have consumed 3-4 liters of water aday, and supplements on schedule.
Just hit my first weigh in, and gained weight instead of losing. I suspect an increase in muscle mass since my arms and chest appear bigger, and my back feels thicker. Put on a pair of Jeans that normally don’t need a belt for, and the damn things fell down around my ankles. I had to pull the belt tight to keep them up. I may try dropping my calorie count down to 2000 from 2400, and see what happens. Intend to try changing some of my
supplements go on Feb. 1st after next weigh in to others that have been recommended by some friends. I really don’t mind the weight s long as it is muscle and not fat! Work hard, play harder!
Feb. 2, 2008: Weight drop noted at last weigh in down to 251 lbs., and noticed some definite muscle gains especially in chest and arms. Clothes seem bigger! 1st month of program over now! I am excited by progress so far, but have run into some snags. Just started new job so I am trying to adjust workouts to new work schedule. In addition, due to change in jobs my insurance at my new job has not kicked in yet so I needed to change my appointment for new lab work to be drawn to check my cholesterol level and my Hgb A1C for my diabetes. My last employer has also managed to hold my last paycheck which has now delayed my purchase of supplements (ie. Protein, Thermogenics, etc.), and has limited my shopping for appropriate foods to meet my goals.
