Nov. 13th Let’s get it started
Hello all. Its been awhile since I’ve been to the gym let alone this website. Man I feel like I’ve fallin off SO BAD!!
I moved up here to the middle of nowhere in Dalton, GA to go to school for some classes i need and….its just been stressful. Trying to work and do school? In undergrad it was different cuz i didnt have to work. I hate that ive slacked off and lost weight, all that hard work, and now i gotta get it all back! I have the same build (thank god) just not as big, ive lost close to 12 pounds and you can DEFINITELY tell. It’d be different if i had lost that weight and got cut along with it lol but unfortunately its not the case. But I have been working out at home and thats made a difference. Muscle memory is kickin in thank goodness. Can’t do nearly what I used to do (curling 75lb dumbbells, last night struggled doin 50lbs.) So it’ll take some time. But hopefully as i work out ill build new BIGGER SHARPER muscle! that’s what I’m hoping anyways. For the past few weeks, i’ve been using my girlfriend’s Wii Fit game (which is amazing by the way) and i’ve been using the perfect push-up. Both are EXTREMELY helpful but my opinion is u cannot replace a gym, you just can’t. So last night, I used my first day of a 30 day guest pass at "The Rush." I’m probably gunna end up getting a membership there cuz its everything i need. A gym thats right down the street, the gym is easy to get around (all muscle groups are color-coordinated with the machines/workout area), the people are nice AND its 24hrs. which is HUGE to me because I work late and I get home from school late a lot as well. They sell supplements and have their own smoothie bar (not that important to me) but it looks nice lol. Plus they have lots of equipment i’ve never seen before. Last night I used a machine which was a simulation of climbing a rope, it was listed as a "total upper bodyworkout" and boy was it lol. U can change the resistance and everything, it was pretty cool. I was so anxious in there last night i jus couldnt help it. I did delts, traps, bi’s and tri’s. Quadra-sets anyone? lol. It felt soooooo good tho. I’m not as big, which kinda made me sad cuz i was lookin at people lift weight that i used to be able to lift and they were JACKED lol. But ill get there again, jus gotta keep workin:) But anyway I dont want to bore:) Just letting people know that Im back and it feels great. I’ll have new pictures up soon.
