I have been a bad boy the last two weeks, schedules all messed up, daughter visiting from TN…have not worked out for two weeks until today. Thus the word ow. Killed my legs today!!! But, as next week will see our lives back to normal, my wife and I will be back on track again.

My first goal acheived!!! Dropped below 200 for the first time in over four years!! Now looking foward to getting below 190!!

Geez…at least I stopped the half pound a day increase that was starting to happen. I am trying so hard to lose weight, eating right, excersizing, no junk food, small portions…time to wage war on this ol body and show it who is boss. It is like it does not want to get below 200 lbs!! I swear it has a mind of its own.

Well, I was really hoping to get below 200 by this Sunday and I have been hovering over it for a week now around 202. I was gonna starve myself for a few days (well, kick all the carbs) but that did not happen as I had a cereal bar and an apple for breakfast, meatballs for lunch, and fish and brocolli and cheddar rice for supper. I have been tired this week too, probably from the increase of excersize, so I almost did not go to the gym. But then, after having supper, I started feeling guilty so I grabbed the kids and took them with me. That gave Michele a nice break from the kids that way. Had a decent workout on the treadmill on maximum incline (15 degrees) and 3.5 mph to keep my heart rate at 140. Did that for 35 mins then worked upper body for 15 mins and left as the child care was getting ready to close. But at least I got a workout in. I still have two full days to knock out three lbs. I will do it. That is the way things seem to go for me, right to the last minute. I am not complaining though, in three weeks I have lost nearly 15 lbs and not gained it back, looking foward to the next 15 yrs!! A special thank you to Chris for getting me started here and making me really get serious about getting in shape. Thanks buddy!!

Weight fluctuating a bit right now but no worries. Got up this morning, took the kids to daycare and was at the Gym by 8am (it’s my day off). Spent first half hour doing a circuit working arms and legs. One machine worked the hams and since I never do that…ow. Cramps. Cant wait to do it again!! = ) After that, I hit the treadmill for 30 minutes at a 12 degree incline keeping speed around 3.8 mph. And finally finished up on the Elliptical for 15 minutes at mid level keeping my hr around 135-140. Then back home. Had my shake and outside to work around the yard the rest of the day. Still cutting trees up and cleaning. So, all in all…good excersize today.

Ow, I gained a pound! Gonna have to have a sitdown with my body and teach it the art of LOSING weight!! Oh well, I guess that is going to happen now and then. Looking at what I ate yesterday, I have nothing to feel bad about. I just doubled my protein yesterday but never made it to the gym. So, will have to do a few extra minutes on the ellipical tomorrow. No gym today either, closing at work today. Back to curls and situps when I get home. Plan on hitting the gym tomorrow for some good cardio.

You think you know something about nutrition…then you go to one of Attmandu’s blogs…sheesh!! Anyone who has not gone should go and look at them, great advice I think. Take it all in or pull out what works for you. So, rather than getting on here new to all of this and trying to give advice from my experience, I will defer you to Attmandu!! = )

Well, did not get a chance to go to the gym today. We went to church, then forever at Wal-Mart where we ate lunch while there (Subway, I had a huge salad…at least it seemed huge to me after 2 weeks of dieting), then home where we settled in and wife started watching a movie and I got into it with her. Dont laugh at me guys, it was a chick flick. We picked up a jug of vanilla whey and I had a whey shake (whey, milk, and ice in a blender) and some peanuts. For supper I had 2 breaded fish patties with white cheddar cheese on them, and a whey shake. A month ago I would still be hungry, but I am stuffed!! I guess ai will go for a walk or something. Definately do some situps tonight. May try and get to the gym tomorrow before I go to work.

After 4 days at 203 I finally dropped again!! I guess bumping up my protein intake helped out. Today we may get some Whey products to help us out some. Lots to do around the house and going to try to fit in a weekend workout at the gym too. I am so close to hitting my one month goal of 200 lbs and it has just been 14 days!! And you know…190 is right around the corner…then 180….then 175!!! Then the long stretch to getting the physique I always wanted. So…keep watching and I will keep changing. = )

Yeah, I decided the other pic looked silly at best. Not a good look for me at all lol. For the purpose of sending comments and such, a simple one made more sense to me. I use to take good pics…not anymore. Had to take several to get that one…the rest were horrible!! I never let my wife take my pic. I hope that when I lose all of my weight that will change with it. We shall see.
Today was an easy day. I worked…and that is about it. Slimmed down on amount I ate since I did not work out, but I also took in more protein. I see people taking in 200grams or more of protein a day…wow. Maybe as my workouts become more intense I will change my intake more too. I guess I will have to get some Whey eh?
