So this weekend was pretty cool, despite the fact that I missed my long run on Saturday because I got a wicked case of the runner’s knee. I think I can get back into the swing this week though. Well, I hope so at least, since having school four nights a week until 10:40 is gonna cut into my fitness time. Regardless of the time constraints, I intend to perservere. Somehow.
Also, Jack is considering a cut. This is cool because he’s been feeling stagnated lately, and maybe this will help him recognize all the gains he’s made, but it also means that he’s going to be cutting calories. And… he’s always hungry as it is. Hm. I just hope he doesn’t lose too much size. I like his current bigness. Bigth. Whatever, I like it.

I am growing weary of working out with my sister. I understand she needs to lose significant amounts of weight, and I know she’s unhealthy, and I know that despite how much she wants it, she will not do it if I don’t ride her case, but it’s freaking exhausting having to muster the motivation for both of us.
Last night she said she couldn’t run because her thighs were rubbing together. No shit. So I gave her the jump rope and told her to do a vigorous twenty minutes. Then that was too hard, so I put her on the stationary bike. Then the whole time she was lifting weights (without a hint of actual interest), she was flopping around with crappy form.
But I can’t give up on her because she will not do it alone, and her stupid fat boyfriend ain’t gonna motivate her to do anything but quit. And I know how flippen hot she is and she’s excited to look that good again. Maybe when she really starts seeing the results it won’t be so hard to get her ass moving on her own.

Then there was a terrible melted wax mishap, and long story short, I wish I’d stayed home, run with sister and watched So You Think You Can Dance with Jack instead.
Blurg. But tonight is lifting night! Huzzah!! I plan to have a very good workout. And to rock my arms off. I have to take progress pictures again Wednesday and I hope to goodness there’s a visible change. We shall see.

Last night was a pretty good workout. Had to run with mysister, and she always slows me down,but I know if I don’t go with her, she won’t go. But then afterward she lifted with me and Jack, which was awesome. Not that she wasn’t a total baby about it the whole time, but I’m glad anytime she shows an interest in getting heathier. I eschewed the squats last night and instead did these things:

I hope I don’t look as weird as that guy when I do them, though. Anyhoodle, I really feel those in my side-of-butt area and it was a nice change of pace from my usual boring squats.
Tonight my mom got sister and I tickets to go to some magic show, so there will be no cardio for us. LAME. Oh well, magic is cool. My arms are looking totally rad, though. Comparatively speaking. Well, compared to my usual spaghetti arms, I mean.

I worked the living hell outta my triceps night before last and they’re still SO SORE!! I could barely put my hair in a ponytail this morning. Tonight I’m going to try and destroy my legs. I’m going to increase the weight on everything and just do as many reps as I can and hopefully feel it tomorrow. I can’t run tomorrow anyway, so I might as well, right??
I do have a weird pain in my knee, though, that’s giving me cause for concern. It’s new, so I’m not sure if it’s from lifting or running… Hmmm.

This is how I’m feeling. Have not gotten enough cardio this week. Have not eaten enough at ALL. Watched a really depressing documentary about the Peoples Temple and Jim Jones and the cyanide Kool-Aid and all of that. Also, I’m perioding. Gack!!
This week will be better. I will get in all my workouts. I will eat more. I will not watch films about mass suicide. I will pull the weeds in the garden before they choke out all my tomatoes. I will do that part right now.

Bloggy, isn’t it?
Okie, so tonight is weights with Jack and running with Dewey. I just hope to goodness we get to the high school before they lock up the track because I hate taking turns on the treadmill. I also fully intend to make a mental note of how much weight I’m lifting because I forget every gd time and this trial and error crap is getting on my very last nerve.
