I bought a treadmill and am soooo happy I did! Nothing better than  just walking down into the basement to get that fasted cardio done.  I don’t have to worry about going to the gym in this freakin’ cold and worrying if there will be one available.  I NEEEED my cardio right now.  I faced the scale yesterday and it wasn’t pretty : (

I dug out an old plan I had started and am going to do the suggested morning and night cardio for faster weight loss.  I need to see results right off, it helps motivate(of course).  I will do this for a week or two and then start adding in the weights.  I honestly miss the gym and will be back!!

Cleaning up the eating big time too.  I need to get back into balance.  My mother told me when I visited this weekend that she hasn’t seen me this "physically" tired in a long time…I know that is her way of saying I’ve gained weight.    I have been extremely tired with juggling work and kids etc.  But, no matter what, I need to make time for myself and look after this temple of mine : )

Holy! Talk about a major derail…like a 3 month derail.  This train needs to get on track! Doesn’t take long for the body to show the effects of no excercise and not eating clean…blah!  I did get 2 30 min walk/runs in this week with some abs and stretching.  Small, but at least it’s something.  I actually found an amazing running partner…my daughter.  She is quite motivated to get in shape(turning 14) and has been quite encouraging. I am really hoping she stays with this as it will be nice to have someone else in the house addicted to excerice, hasn’t always been easy being the only one : (

Anyways, I can always get some inspiration when I come here…’specially from Miss. Stormi  <3

Well..I’ve got a month behind me of getting back into the groove of workouts and cleaning up the diet.  Except for one bad weekend of too much wine, which lead to crappy eating..I have been on track and feeling pretty good! I am so excited that there is a girl in our town who is certified in crossfit and is offering free classes right now out of her friends garage until she is set up.  This is a type of workout I need, something that will push me past my comfort zone..make me hurt…reaching deeper than ever…Lovin’ it!

I’m starting to train with a girl and she has only worked out with me once.  She loved it, although she was sore the next day.  She says she was never pushed that hard…yeehawww! Love it, how inspiring is that and motivating for me.  I am going to the gym tomorrow to help a massage therapy client of mine through a program.  Adding fitness training to my life will be so good for me as I will need to be accountable to my clients and it will keep me from taking this ridiculous "breaks". 

My clothes are getting loose again and that’s just sweet! I’m feeling tighter through the midsection…have to keep at it…take it all the way!

One more day of kids home and they start back to school tomorrow!! yeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssss!!! lol

I am so excited to get back to routine and back to the gym.  It’s been over a month since I have done weights and I miss it so much and it’s showing big time.  Time to tighten back up, clean the diet back up and take it all the way. I am hitting my weight loss goal this year, that’s it!

Okay…so 7 pounds gone in the last month.  This next month I have to see more..but I am more on track with dieting and excercising.  The first couple of weeks that I started where just about cleaning things up and getting back into a workout routine.  I can do up one of my fav capri pants for summer..but still to tight to wear : (  SOON  Love seeing my ab definition coming back!

I didn’t eat enough yesterday(which is rare), just one of those days that I was on the run unexpectedly and didn’t plan…I stuck to the no eating after 6 p.m. and I was hungry…I just kept thinking tonight was my cheat night and it got me through!

heading out for my cardio day.  45 min…going to mix it up this morning for a change.  did my cardio the other day with an outside run.  Today, going to the the gym, 15min bike, 15min elliptical, 15 min run…yeah!

Workouts are going great…eating is good….weight loss is happening, although not as fast as I would like(Is it ever as fast as we like though??)  I’m noticing the change in my body through muscle definition starting to show again and my clothes fitting better.  I am in this for the long haul this time.  It really helps that I have to report in all my food and workouts to my personal trainer through email and she PICKS it apart..lol.  She’s strict, but it is what I need.  I’m really feeling positive about my goals and not doubting myself as much.  I’m feeling the rise in myself that will carry me through this.

Heading out for a run this a.m.  It’s absolutely beautiful out.  I was surprised to see the sun as it rain so hard in the night and thundered(pretty near jumped out a bed at one bang)lol.

I am going to get some digestive enzymes today to see if it helps me with less bloat after eating.  A Dr. on oprah mentioned taking this before meals if you experience frequent bloat.  I think I do have food sensitivities now, but this feeling bloated alot is really annoying.  I know I need to cut out the salt and this will probably help too..but that has to be done slowly…I love my salt!

First program rec’d.

I rec’d my first 4 week program from my trainer.  So today was day two and it was legs.  They were rubbery when I was done, so I knew I worked them good.  She has me on the stepper(warm up) for leg day…*I am not a fan of the stepper*, but I can feel it working the legs and it’s good cardio…I guess,lol.

I am supposed to keep my calorie intake between 1600-1800 cals…keeping it around the 60,30,10 ratio.  I’ll have to play around with my food until I figure that one out.  I have started logging my food into fitday and it shows me what the ratios are.

I am hoping to get good results from this!!

I didn’t sleep well last night and the thought crossed my times many times after the alarm went off to just go back to sleep and maybe go later.  Yeah, well the maybe would have turned into not going and I knew it. so I dragged my butt out of bed and went!  Not alot of energy but worked my pecs good, abs and HIIT….done!

I am hoping to get my program soon from my trainer….can’t wait!

moving forward.

good news..I can walk down the stairs forward today instead of back wards.  that’s how sore my quads were yesterday…owwww.  they are still a bit sore but not as bad.

Right out the door this am and hit the gym for back and shoulders, 15 min HIIT(love the sweat from these)! Stretching.

I was approached by the owner to run a bootcamp with another girl from the gym.  I am so excited, this is what I want to do in the future once I have all my certifications.  fun fun

Woke up this morning with super sore arms…..back to the gym yesterday after being away for a while and hit bis and tris, punishing them for their absence..lol. 

Warmed up 5mins in treadmill.

Then right over to chin up bar and did four rounds of 1 chin up(yes one,lol)..I would jump up into it and hold and easy down on the negative.  Then 30 air squats.  Quads are feeling that this morning. Then it was bis and tris, 15 min running intervals(2 min easy,1min hard).  I was a good sweaty mess…finished off with abs and stretching.

today I have to attempt Storms crossfit workout…..lord help me!!

 

okay..so I did it..modified though! and took me longer than Storm : D

50 situps (full)

25 double unders(have to learn these before next attempt) only did half do to whipping myself and fumbling,lol.

50 walking lunges

50 situps

25 burpees(that was enough for me!)

50 situps

Took me 20 mins..laughed when I saw my time…super storm did it in 9 min and didn’t whimp out on numbers!!

Then came in and did step aerobics for 20 min..I am supposed to be practicing this for my evaluation for Group fitness leader…so good workout over all.  Back to the gym tomorrow!! : )
