2 weeks in of workouts and healthier eating!! Feeling good, weight is down, energy is rising.

I have been training my friend along with me through circuit style workouts.  I’m hindered some with working out with her as she is new to all this, but I am getting motivated by motivating her!

I will only get stronger and intensity will get back up…lovin’ it!!

Energy is low again today…but did 20 min fasted cardio on my recumbant bike.  2 sets of 30 ball crunches/20 incline pushups…I know I that’s not much..but it’s somethin’!!

Very tired after a busy weekend away, but I was up and ran my friend through her first bootcamp stlye class.  It was fun.  She was feeling it : )  We headed straight for a trail near by, we walked first because she doesn’t run as soon as we got there we did 10 jump squats and then 10 pushups(well, I did..she is just starting)..then we started walking..anyway through the route I took her we did 3 more sets of jumpsquats(upped number as we went) and pushups, also threw in some running.  Got back to my house and used the bands for a upperbody workout and then finished with weighted ball for abs.  It was fun, I didn’t get as much of a workout as she did..but it’s great that I was able to motivate her.  I may go for a run tonight just to feel more complete with a workout.  My energy is pretty low from the weekend. 

Eating was really good on the weekend, this is where I usually blow it.  I am back on today : )

Day #2 of eating clean.  I am starting a food diary again and writing down my workouts.

I did my workout first thing right from home.  i bought a second hand recumbant bike the other day and did 30 min’s on that and then some abs with weighted ball. Short and sweet!

Today was a good day.

First day of clean eating in over 2 weeks!! Feel better already.  Got home from work and straight into workout clothes.  Hadn’t really planned on what to do just new I had to get out.  I was feeling a bit stressed so I just headed out the door and walked for 20 mins and then ran for 20 mins.  Legs felt a bit heavy from last nights workout : )  Wanted to do a bit of resistance when I got home so grabbed my resistance bands and did biceps and shoulders and threw in some lunges…stretch, that’s it that’s all! Feeling good : )

I figured I would be more sore from last night that I am, I may feel more tomorrow…you know how those DOMS can creep up on you sometimes : )

Here we go…

This blog is dedicated to storm…thanks for the push beautiful lady!!

It’s been 2 1/2 weeks since I last worked out.  I was down and out for a 1 1/2 weeks due to being sick..the past week has been just lack of motivation and stuffing my face..ugh!  I was given a crossfit style workout the other day by storm&doc(I did your shorter version storm since this was our first night) and gave it a go tonight with my daughter.  I would have probably put it off for another day if Storm didn’t give me a nudge!!

Sooo..it was fun.  My daughter DID NOT want to go with me.  Half way through she says, "this is fun."  Poor Emma skinned her shins..twice..doing box jumps on the bleachers, but she kept going(she’s tough like her mom). 

I want to give myself a few days of working out and cleaning things up with food before I face the scale and measurements..but I am going to post them..*gulp*  I have to be held accountable.

ahhhh…feeling good : )

Okay…enough is enough.  I have to start being accountable and get some recent pics etc on here.  I’ve lost alot of the progress I had made before christmas and have been really on/off track way to much over the last 6 months.  I’m getting soft and feeling YUCK!!  It’s in me though, to keep trying and reach my ultimate goal.  I find it hard not having anyone around to help motivate.  There is not much to offer in this small town that I am in.  But, working towards my group fitness certification followed by personally training will help keep me more consistent.  Working with women to help motivate them, will only motivate me even more to set an example for them!!!

I want to get into bootcamp/crossfit style training.  I am going to put together a small class(at no cost) and start getting the experience and benefits of running one of these.  Storm is my mentor, not that she asked for that..lol. 

Bikini season is right around the corner and I am not ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I would have no problem with someone whipping me right now…I so deserve that!! haha

 Okay…soon…recent(ugh!!) pics and I may even add my weight and measurements(double ugh!!)
