regression…

It seems every time I get about 3 weeks into a "diet" My body starts craving junk food and I am constantly hungry. I’ve continued eating the right cals. (2100-2200) in as close to a 40/40/20 ratio as possible, about every three hours, so that’s not changing anything, but almost as soon as I start to see progress, my body craves more food and I end up breaking down (see my last Blog). I don’t lift as heavy when I am cutting; lighter weight more reps. The only change is I try and increase my cardio which after about the 3 weeks also seems to stop working…..What am I doing wrong here??(other than my will-power failing, and going on a binge , of course ;) ) should I increase my cals since I’m  burning more during cardio? that doesn’t seem to make sense since I’m trying to burn the Cals. and obviously need to burn cals to burn fat….  Any ways, that my rant/Question….

I Slipped up….Again….

So, I’ve been a little tired in the last little bit(Yes I am making excuses), which has been increasing my urges for junk food, and today it got the better of me; I slipped up…..(to put it lightly)and went to pizza hut and…..well that’s all the specifics I’m going to give on that, its actually embarrasing to admit when I go on my eating binges. Its now a little after 6pm and I feel like throwing up (partly excess calories, partly guilt/Dissapointment). I’m just glad I have a day off school tomorrow; I’m going to hit that elliptical extra hard and punish myself for this nonsense.

On a side note I can’t believe that,less than a year ago, I went on these binges on a regular basis!!! So I guess I can look at this in a semi useful manner, and just try not to let it happen again…..

School and the gym….

Not much has changed since my last blog. I decided to get a bunch of the EAS myoplex lite bars to help maintain my nutrition while at school. The cafe selection is bad at most times ,but during the summer the menu is absloute garbage!! I’m having a little trouble keeping my energy levels up, with my current schedule I like to go to the gym in the early morning but can’t because school starts at 8, hopefully my body can make the adjustment quickly.

I’ll post pics in the next week or so…

Any comments , suggestions or opinions are greatly appreciated

quick update

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

I’m back on track with my cut  phase. I’m training with weights three days a week, and a seperate three days of cardio and Abs. My split is Day 1: Shoulders/Back, Day 2: Legs, Day 3:Bis/Tris/Chest. Nutrion wise I’m eating about 2100 cals per day in as close to a 40/40/20 ratio as I can, spaced out every three hours or so(5-6 meals.) Overall I’m feeling alot leaner and my stomach is tightening up quite a bit, though I’m still far from having abs showing.

I will post pics in the next couple days

 Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated!!
