The thickening

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

Really starting to see my body begin to thicken with muscle. My upper back and chest are starting to expand and my waist expanded a little(but that is probably from bloating due to this new stuff I’m taking.) Abs are really starting to get nicely detailed, though you still can’t see them. Arms and legs getting bigger and more muscle seperation is felt and seen. Calves, well I don’t really train calves always had nice ones but think I am gonna start again, anybody know which calf exercise works the smaller diamond the best, seated or standing?? Mostly just working on maintaining good form and lifting 2 secs up and 2 secs down for better muscle control. Training my weak points, just really need to start on some high cardio and change up my core workout. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated.

Chest upgrade

Friday, February 15th, 2008

No I don’t mean implants. When I first started working out I had no chest strength whatsoever. I was struggeling with 95lbs. and then I got cocky and threw a pair of 45’s on an olympic bar (total wt. 135) and started benching that. Well, long story short I got a nice little tear in my right pec. Then I managed to dislocate my left shoulder while trying to go heavy on a dumbell pullover, with very bad form (I’m double-jointed which makes it even harder to do). Almost a year later I dislocated it again at work. So my bench and chest have been going nowhere. But thanks to a good trainer and some humility and intelligence I have slowly worked my way up to 215lb. bench and should reach 225 within the next 1-2 weeks. So for those people out there who are just starting. take it from someone who knows, when you go to the gym leave your ego at home, so what you can’t lift that much weight, being able to go heavy requires patience. Otherwise you can quite quickly injure yourself if you allow yourself to get cocky and act stupid. Train hard and most defienately train smart.

Well Happy(belated) Birthday for me

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

As some of you know my 21st birthday was this tuesday and I promised you that I would have updates about my goal. Well, I didn’t lose exactly 10% body fat but I was close, I am now down to 33.9% which is pretty good coming from 53.4%. My new goal now is to lose another 10% in eight weeks. To help this I am starting a exercise regiment and I have just started taking Hydroxycut Hardcore. Well, wish me luck, and tremendous thanks to all those who have given me words of support you all have my deepest gratitude. God bless to you all and I keep you filled in.

Just updating

Monday, April 9th, 2007

Hello to all again, just thought I would give ya’ll a little update on my progress (I’m saving the best stuff for my birthday post). I have started taking Muscletech’s newest item on the market "naNo Vapor" (this stuff is totally awesome, talk about wicked energy) but I’ve also been combining this with the Tribulus I’ve been taking and this lead to Thursday (chest day). As I was sitting at the bench press pondering the weight on the bar(or rather the small amount (sigh)) I decided to bench my one-rep max (this is 135lbs & WITHOUT a spotter, cause I’m all alone (sigh)). Well, I got it oof the rack and down and up, and down and up again and again and again, racked it. rested for a min. and did another 4 reps. (I could have done more but I learned the hard way that you don’t push it to far when you don’t have a spotter.) I am still estactic. But I got to go now. Thanks for all the support.

Ironman P.O.F Exercises?

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

I have just heard about this different type of exercising called the Position of Flexion Training by Steve Holman. It works three different angles of your muscles. Has anybody heard of this before and do you know if it works, I;m fixing to start it so I was trying to get a little more information first.

  Hello to all.

I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Michael. I have been working out for about two and a half months now and can see a big difference. But for anybody who would like to offer any word of advice I would gladly accept it.
