Some one Get me a Scalpal, I’m gunna do some cutting!

I did 8 weeks of Heavy lifting, doing 3-5 sets of 6-12 reps each, now I am going to take 2 weeks solid of isolating my abs, no other body part, to help jump start the shed the unwanted portion of my stomach. After those two weeks I will be starting my high rep- low weight weight regiment to help define the muscle mass I have. If anyone has any suggestions I am always willing to listen, because I know my stomach WILL give me problems!!!!

I am glad that we have this place to help us along!

thanks alot for the reply to my nano vapor blog…but as far as yours i do six core workouts…none of which are with machines they dont target the muscles as well…natural body movement is the best…lots of medicine ball workouts such as bending and twisting on the bench(10 lb. ball) and taking the lat pull down bar and pulling it down and to your stomach while your flexing…you will feel the burn, and may need to critque it to suit you best…but while doing the exercise make sure you are standing with knees slightly bent…it my sound kinda of gay but you will feel the burn and see results!

Cutting up is a delicate balance of everything you know about your own body. Don’t kill yourself. body fat is a ratio, the more muscle you develop, the less body fat you will have by percentage.

Since you took the nutrition class, you already have the foundation on how to eat right. Start keeping a food journal, and writing down calories, fats, carbs, and protein for each meal. Start slowly going down on the calories, fats and carbs.

It’s good you’re targeting your abs, but I would suggest to keep doing a total body workout like you’ve been doing. You don’t have to lift heavy, just add more reps. Muscle burns fat all over the body, not just in one area. I try to do abs at least 3 times a week. The cardio is what I have problems doing, because I run out of time. I workout at the gym at my job on my lunch break.
