Hello to all
I am new to the site, and am getting a feel for it! I am excited because I believe this kind of site really is a good motivation tool! I enjoy they statistics of it, and am glad that I am able to use it instead of the old "pad of paper and pencil" method! I started lifting when I was in HS, but I am 26 now and I haven’t been serious about it since! I am back with a vengence, and have been lifting since mid June, but started to record my workouts on July 14th. I was up to 250lbs in Dec, but I foccused on my diet, and with out any working out brought my self down to 230lbs. I have been working out over a month now, and I have seen my weight drop down to around 210lbs. The motivation for me to change was because I took a nutrition class, and they did a fat mass index on me, and I was 30.6%. I was so SO sick to my stomach, I new I needed to change. I still have a ways to go, but I am down to 23.4%, and my goal is to be down to 10% by Jan 1, 09.
I am greatful for this site, and what it seems that it can do for a person! So much knowledge, and wisdom in one place.
*Just for clarification, I use a Cross bow, so my weights sound high, because they are… this machine isn’t like free weights, but it is what I have and I am using it to the best of its ability! I also use the names I know for each lift, even though they aren’t the right lifts namesĀ for the machine, but do the exact same work out!*
