RIP IT UP!!!! TEAR IT UP!!!! OHH WAIT………. LET’S NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playin BBall and went up to tip in a rebound and I had my ankle extended down so that I could jump again as soon as my toes hit, and someones foot was under mine… So my foot was totaly streched to begin with so when it rolled, it just ripped my whole left side of my left ankle out!!!! Through MRI though they said I didn’t rip everything, but about 45%. They told me its my choice for surgery.  :( I wannta see how it comes around! I can walk on it with occasional pain… but if I try to do any streghtening exercizes it hurts extensivly! My dumb self wants to get out and play ball again… I play on wednesdays and I am hateing not being out there! It has been rolled for 3 weeks today! I HATE INJURIES!!!!!!

 

SPECIAL SHOUT OUT- For all of you who have inquired on how I have been! Thats better than my daily friends! THX IT MEANS ALOT TO ME!!!!!

Some one Get me a Scalpal, I’m gunna do some cutting!

I did 8 weeks of Heavy lifting, doing 3-5 sets of 6-12 reps each, now I am going to take 2 weeks solid of isolating my abs, no other body part, to help jump start the shed the unwanted portion of my stomach. After those two weeks I will be starting my high rep- low weight weight regiment to help define the muscle mass I have. If anyone has any suggestions I am always willing to listen, because I know my stomach WILL give me problems!!!!

I am glad that we have this place to help us along!

Yet another Month has past and still getting strong!

It’s amazing how much I am staying motivated and dedicated because of this site! I have some where to come to, to become more foccused and keep me on the right track! It has became an obsession for me again! I haven’t lifted for months streight like this since I was in HS. I would like to thank those who stay dedicated that gives the weaker ones like my self the motivation to keep on going! This will be my last week of HEAVY lifting, because it will be my 8th week and then I will be devoting Sep 15 - Oct 6 to trimming my fat off and getting a better midsection! I am plagued by the 1/2 inch of flab over the stomach muscles….. I would like to see the muscles underneath, instad of always telling people they exist! I am always happy to hear from others what has worked for them, because I am a hard loser… easy gainer…lol…

Dr. orders week off…. dang

I have had a problem with my left sholder since the end of june. Every time I put any pressure on it, I was in lots of pain. So the dr told me yesterday to take a week off, so this next week will be a strict cardio week for me. It will give me some time to foccus on my stomach, a weak spot for me.  Aug. 2-11th time off!

Hello to all

I am new to the site, and am getting a feel for it! I am excited because I believe this kind of site really is a good motivation tool! I enjoy they statistics of it, and am glad that I am able to use it instead of the old "pad of paper and pencil" method! I started lifting when I was in HS, but I am 26 now and I haven’t been serious about it since! I am back with a vengence, and have been lifting since mid June, but started to record my workouts on July 14th. I was up to 250lbs in Dec, but I foccused on my diet, and with out any working out brought my self down to 230lbs. I have been working out over a month now, and I have seen my weight drop down to around 210lbs. The motivation for me to change was because I took a nutrition class, and they did a fat mass index on me, and I was 30.6%. I was so SO sick to my stomach, I new I needed to change. I still have a ways to go, but I am down to 23.4%, and my goal is to be down to 10% by Jan 1, 09.

I am greatful for this site, and what it seems that it can do for a person! So much knowledge, and wisdom in one place.

*Just for clarification, I use a Cross bow, so my weights sound high, because they are… this machine isn’t like free weights, but it is what I have and I am using it to the best of its ability! I also use the names I know for each lift, even though they aren’t the right lifts names for the machine, but do the exact same work out!*
